A truly beautiful place with stunning scenery, peaceful, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing swim in the lake. The campground is well-equipped, with clean bathrooms and ample parking, making the experience all the more comfortable. We traveled from Bogota, NJ, about two and a half hours away, and stayed nearby for the weekend. It was absolutely worth the trip. Given its proximity to the NYC metropolitan area, it feels like a hidden gem, and at just a $10 day-use fee, the experience far exceeds the cost. We’re grateful to have discovered this place and look forward to returning.

This is a GREAT campsite. We come every year the last 4 years and love it. Waterfront sites are the best. Hard to get, but worth it!

This is my third time visiting this campsite. This is one of my favorite places to go in the summer, the beach is very clean and there's usually not a lot of people around. The bathrooms are very clean too other than the usual camping bugs in outside elements. It's hard to get a place near the water so you have to get it early. A lot of private sites and beautiful trees and not a lot of bugs. Lots of places to picnic.

Nice lakeside campsite about 4-5 hours north of NYC. Sites are about $27 a night as of July 2025. Dog friendly and sites near 89-90 has direct water access. Minus one star due to mosquitos.

First one of the season, absolutely wonderful. They waited a little later for me to get here and the spots are well cleaned. Bathrooms are excellent and the showers are hot. Love it definitely coming back
