Noisiest campground we’ve been too. Dogs barking and adults/kids yelling both before and after quiet hours. Wooden bridge over creek sounds like a conitinuoud rumble strip during the day because of bikes and scooters racing over it though sign is posted asking bikes to be walked over it. Grounds are like an obstacle course all day and evening long with bike and pedestrian traffic. Difficult to park or drive as kids are darting everywhere. Someday there will be an accident. Geared toward seasonal campers who congregate in large loud groups. Bikes and gear and garbage strewn all over these seasonal sites. Not pleasant to look at Management appears to be MIA and left to young college kids. They are very nice but lack the self confidence or motivation to keep the grounds clean or enforce the rules.

This campground is located in the middle of the town (which really mucked up our Google directions as it thought we could exit at the end of the campground). It is a stone’s throw away from Main Street and St Fx university and thus close to every thing. The campground has two pools and multiple playgrounds as well as a community hall. It seems focused more on long term stay but surprisingly enough without the sometimes ginormous structures people build around their rv. We just came with a tent and were happy it was close to the shower/washroom building. The showers cost 25 cents which is a super outdated approach. But, the young staff did keep everything very clea so that was a big plus. Two downsides were that thee place to clean dishes was on the opposite side of the campground and access had to be requested. We didn’t bother as we had just few items to clean used the bathroom sink. Not ideal but as almost all campground, this one too is not really catering to people with tents. The other downside was the lack of access to a water tap. Again, we had to use the bathroom. The last issue we noted was outside the owners control, the very loud running of the big rig Air Conditioning systems. Especially when we wanted to go to sleep and the campground was quiet, these machines created a racket.

Well run site in a central location. We loved this privately run campsite for its great facilities and the buzz around the place. We walked around the town and ate a great meal there before attending a local arts fair in the park across the road from the park. An epic stay.

We found this campground at the last minute, but we were positively surprised when we got there. It exceeded our needs and was very close to our venues. Ground maintenance was always, I mean always visible, and making sure everything was clean and in order. It was quiet at night, even on weekends. Great pools for the warm days. Not to mention the brook that goes through the campground and provides nice white noise at night!

To begin with I have camped all over Nova Scotia so this is my honest review, I always give each one a chance but this one was by far one of the worst so here we go 1) it’s right downtown so strangers can see you camping from their house, you can hear cars coming and going plus people Being rowdy on the streets not good for kids 2) they couldn’t deliver our firewood, the girl legit told my wife to pick it up and walk it to our campsite and described “how to pick it up” and it’s quite the walk- oh but they could deliver us a fire pit no problem..makes sense ? 3) washrooms are far away from the campsite and dirty it’s a long strut especially with kids and especially in the dark 4) tent sites are crammed pretty close together there’s no privacy 5) there is one small park by the first pool with a tiny slide and 1 swing not good for multiple children 6) there is another bigger slide on the other side of the campground and only another 2 swings for kids 7) it’s an rv park, would Not recommend camping there UNLESS you know someone who is a seasonal even then I would Probably still consider a different location 8) campfires have to be out by 1130 9) quiet time is 1030 but yet I had buddy next to me screaming his lungs out at his wife cursing and nothing being done about it Anyways take it as you will this was unfortunately our experience and will definitely not be choosing that ever again

No security, got stolen my battery charger in the toilet from 2am to 6am. There is nobody watching the camping gate so anybody can get in. They say to lock your stuff, but a camping tent can't be locked. Avoid. Theft problem there that they don't do anything about to deal with.

An excellent well run campground in the heart of Antigonish within a beautiful park like setting complete with its own brook running through the campground. Andrew and the staff were great and I definitely recommend this campground to everyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Antigonish.

It was great very quite. The site was great. Lots for kids to do. The showers were very dirty however.

We stayed here overnight on our way from Cape Breton to the Bay of Fundy. The staff was accommodating especially since didn't book ahead. Our campsite was very clean and the park was very quiet. Washrooms were spotless. Would definitely come back.
