I am very late writing this review as we stayed there in May. I loved the campground. Our site was spacious and I loved the rural setting that was very easy to get to. We were there less than a week and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. SUPER nice and attentive owners with plans to make the place even better. Lots of grassy area to walk my dog!

To spend 1 night - that's what you need. This camp situated 8 mi from city in which you can reserve camp only for 2 and more nights. We arrived after hours and envelope with our Order was waiting in front door. Electricity, water and dump station (near exit) were enough for travelers. But, mosquitoes were extra and free. Finally, location and price did us happy.

At $70/night this was very expensive for what it is. There is also a per child fee - KOAs with these fees need to remove them - they are anti-family. That said, the staff was friendly and the environment is nice. They are working on the roads but when we were there, we had to drive through the mud because the road isn't setup to accommodate RVs. All curves need to be a minimum of 20 feet wide to accommodate large RV off-tracking, but as you'll see from the photo, that was not the case here and we simply had no choice but to drag our RV through the mud. This could be a nice park if the crazy fees are removed and the roads are improved to accommodate RVs.

A quiet place to rest right off I-90. A bit rustic but well maintained. Laundry room clean and inexpensive. Sites pull-thru and pretty level. Staff friendly and helpful. What more do you need when you’re traveling? Definitely would recommend this little diamond in the rough! Oh, did I mention the dark skies? Great for star gazing!!!

We tent camped here for a single night on our way through to Badlands National Park. The owners are super nice! Great people! We have a 16mo toddler who is very friendly and this was his first camping trip. They came out and chatted with us and brought him a couple toys to play with. Very nice of them! We had a blast! The bathrooms were super clean. The owners were telling us about the expansion they are working on and we definitely look forward to coming back to see it!

A very clean and quiet RV park EXCEPT for the women’s showers! One had no handles, another one had a locked door without a person inside, and the third and last shower leaked at the handle and sprayed water in my face while showering. Also, the water did not drain. Other than the above, enjoy your stay.

Don't let the pictures fool you, THERE IS NO POOL. no rec room, nothing but a nice winding trail through the woods and exhaust fumes from the freeway. This place is so loud from the road at night that there are zero crickets. The lights stay on all night, so not even stargazing... not that you could stay up past 10 pm anyway. This place is catered to seasonal campers and an old gnarly cat that will walk right up on your dog and stare at it as it loses its head and then you get reprimanded in the morning for your baking dog. The restroom is clean, but old. I stay at KOAs frequently, but if you're going to charge the same as the others I highly suggest you update this place, and policies.

Wonderfully peaceful and well kept up. The owner was so friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had the spot that worked best for us. The store is fully stocked with almost everything you can think you will need. The campground is so quiet - yes there is a freeway right by it but you can see it is there from the map and it really isn't distracting from anything.

In my 15 years of camping, this is the only campground we have ever stayed that we were told we had a strict curfew of 10 pm. We were yelled at by the host while sitting by a campfire for being “too loud and this campground makes its money by being quiet.” (While our kids were sleeping in the campers right by us without being bothered.) We were absolutely not being that loud. His bright headlights driving around the campground to monitor the noise level and then yelling at guests is what will keep campers awake, not the expected and controlled campfire socialization. This campground is only meant for those who need absolute quiet in order to sleep away their camping experience.

Stopped for 1 night on way home. Check in was quick and easy. Very nice and gracious to answer our questions about the area. Spot was long enough for our motorhome towing a vehicle. We had a very nice patio. The dog area was a great touch which includes bag and place to put them when full. I would stay again.

-Exceptional customer service- Owner at this KOA was very nice! Awesome experience. Friendly staff. We ran into a problem during our 3 night stay an they went above an beyond to help us to resolve, we really appreciate that. The thunderstorms/lightning here was crazy! We stayed dry though. They put us right by the bathrooms/showers which was very considerate. It was a great experience.
