Stayed for two days and liked the level site and quiet accomodations. Right on the Interstate but the state-erected sound wall is totally effective. No sounds...Very nice bathroom setup with 'family' style restrooms. Behind each door is a sink, a separate shower, and a toilet in a stall. Very private and very nice!

We had an unfortunate incident during our stay when the wheels of our stroller were stolen…something that really surprised us, as the campground feels safe, tidy, and well-run. The staff was professional and understanding when we reported it, and after we asked, they agreed to reimburse us for our stay as a gesture of goodwill.

Aside from that incident, everything about the KOA was clean, organized, and welcoming, and the team clearly cares about maintaining a friendly and comfortable environment for guests.

Great Stay at Albuquerque KOA
We had a great stay at the Albuquerque KOA! The campground was clean, well maintained, and easy to access from the main road. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made check-in simple. Our site was level and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The park felt safe and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long travel day. A great stop for RV travelers — we’d definitely stay here again!

We were brought to the KOA last night about midnight because we had an emergency on the highway and our tow truck driver pulled our fifth wheel to this campsite so that we could at least be comfortable for the night. We really appreciate Sandy and getting us a spot because it was at a highlight of the season for the hot air balloon festival and everything was full, but she was able to get us a spot with water and electricity, which is all we really needed just to rest. Park is very nice. It’s very quiet and a lot of amenities that we didn’t get to enjoy because we were just stopping over. I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

We stayed 1 night for the balloon fiesta in a full hookup RV site. The sites were paved and easy to hookup in. What we loved as a family traveling with a 5yo- was the clean hot pool, the mini golf, and the trampoline pad! Lots to do as a family to fill the day. The general store was also stocked with everything you might need. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our first KOA and we were impressed!

Moving from Cali to Sc. Day 2 in, motor problems with truck pulling camper. Called, very accommodating, kind, caring people. They had someone waiting at the gate to escort us to our site so we didn’t have to stop the truck. Spent the night, very clean and very safe. Amenities are perfect. Office helped securing everything we needed to get back on road. Truck and camper now being shipped! Made it to SC. Thank you for everything!!!

This is wonderful Koa. Clean,  easy layout, easy to find and great amenities. Bathrooms and laundry nice. And you just leave your trash at the end of the drive and they pick it up. Swimming pool was nicely kept. You could tell that each site was cleaned after guests left. We heard no freeway noise.

Campground was easy to get to with friendly staff.  Our site was clean and level with full hookups. The proximity to hwy 40 is very close so you will have traffic noise, turn on a fan for sleeping and you wont hear a  thing!  We appreciated the full wall around the park as added security with automatic gate for exit and gate code needed for after hours entry.

As new RV travelers everything is new and slightly terrifying. The team at KOA journey were SO nice and helpful. The showers were super clean, the K9 area was well kept, the area was extremely safe and the hot tub was super nice! Will definitely be staying at this location the next time we’re in town!

I have worked for campgrounds mainly another competitor and this campground hands down is the most put together, clean, level sites yet. The bathroom I did use, was always clean, well stocked. The laundry room was clean, they had four washers. (Although one needs to replaced as it breaks down a lot). The sites are always swept and clean. They have a dog play area that is always stocked with tennis balls. (My pug thanks you).
I am impressed with the extra sites that have small dog pens stocked with bags. Complete with BBQ’s, patio furniture, and some have pavilions.
The area surrounding isn’t the highest, but you’re behind a fence and gate and I stayed there four months and had not one problem . Yes, you’re right next to the freeway, but if people complain about that, then they didn’t pay attention when they drove up to it.

Talked to other campers, Petty thefts, no security or police, Homeless persons, passing through, or may-be living here, as security ???

$45.oo per night turned into $69.oo plus per-night even with Military discount, Not right, not honest, not getting my business 

Stayed one night passing through. Very nice park. Gravel lots, relatively easy to level. Office staff beyond nice. Upgraded us for free to a deluxe pull through. All lots have a picnic table and grill. Premium lots have a wooden porch swing for two and there were some fire pits. You get an escort to your spot. Only down side is that it Is right off i40 so you do hear the traffic but not once you cl...ose the door/windows. Lots were spacious including the regular ones (not deluxe). Full hookups with 30 and 50 amp service available. Didn't see the baths or pool. Wifi is available but we didn't use it so not sure of the quality. Cable available also but we didn't use it. The grounds are kept clean and someone was sweeping the street this morning to keep dust down as it gets windy here. Gravel level is good for keeping it to a minimum. Not far from grocery store.
