We have been to this campground 3 years in a row now. Its perfect for kids. There is a small sandy beach, safe trails for biking, a clean comfort station and nice spacious campsites. We rented canoes from algonquin outfitters and canoed to the island. Highly recommended for families with young children.

This camp ground is just so beautiful I literally fell in love with the setting and everything about it. I just loved it more than anything I have camped at ever. Just perfect in every way.

This campground is quite small. The non electric sites have a very narrow and twisty road to go down. We got rain so it was muddy. We had a beautiful and relatively private campsite right on the lake. There’s lots of wildlife viewing opportunities. The bathrooms and showers were quite clean for a provincial park campground. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at this campground for the first time and will definitely be back! The lake was beautiful for swimming and we hope to bring our kayaks next time. There was another small lake/swamp area behind our site and even saw a moose walk and swim across! Washrooms were clean, showers had hot water. We went May 24 weekend and it was busy but quiet. There is not an office or store on the grounds but we just had to go across the highway and the office at Pog Lake is just a few seconds away to get firewood and ice.

It is a smaller campground but the facilities here are great. There are public washrooms shower rooms and laundry rooms. All these facilities are very clean maintained. The staffs regularly coming to deep clean the washroom shower rooms and other common area facilities. To get firewood and ice you need to go Pog Lake Campground. The beach area is good. I recommend this campground

Easy access to the lake. Campground surrounded by huge tree cover. Decent washrooms. The only thing to take care of is you have to make your own arrangements about washing the utensils. Meaning, due to the high risk of animals getting attracted to the food, its recommended to flush the water of the washed utensils.

This campground is great! The only downside is that it lacks privacy, which I was totally fine with. A tarp could easily fix that. There’s a contained bonfire, picnic table, stinky vaults(masks keep you safe from the smell! Lol). There’s also a public washroom, depending where your camping spot is located, it’s a short walk. They also have shower stalls, it’s open now with phase 3 in effect - unfortunately, the time I went there was only cold water so I didn’t bother. I was prepared with body wipes. There’s also a lake with different entrances, where you can canoe and swim of course, perfect for a hot day! I also noticed that this campground delivers canoe rentals directly to your camping spot, which is so great and convenient. You can easily dock it by one of the lake entrances or bring it back to your camping spot.

Nice spots among the woods and some lake side ones too. Enough space between spots to give you privacy or an anxious dog some space. Recommend seeing the map before booking a place as some is between arms of 2 roads. The beach is actually quite small compared to the size of the campsite. Recommend going post 3pm to find a spot to look at the pristine Kearney lake. Very well maintained, clean bathrooms/shower. Water taps placed strategically- you will always find one close to you. Will surely go back again.

Beautiful, peaceful place to get away from every day life. The park employees were super helpful and a delight to deal with. Our family did not want to leave, but we will definitely be back!
