Quiet, remote-ish campground. No showers, you have to go up the road to willow bay for that. It's quiet, it's not complicated to get to, it has a surprising number of sites and loops to choose from. Fire pits and tables at the sites in the loop where I stayed, clean and not grown in.

Awesome campground. Very quiet at night. Did a first come first serve type of deal. Had a great time and will be back

Wonderful place! So very relaxing 😌 & beautiful! Great adventure & fun! Bring your own water or boil the water there before you drink it. Summer days are BEAUTIFUL & the nights are cold 🥶 so remember to BRING BLANKETS. (Bring a metal detector & you can find interesting things!)

Beautiful, private and quiet campground. Lots of options and plenty of space. Fire ring, picnic table provided. Was able to find a lot of wood around too for building campfires. 2 main downsides were that pretty much every campsite was very rocky so it was very challenging to put down stakes for a tent. Secondly, the trails were a little confusing. The blazes seemed to be messed up on the trail I was on and I ended up getting a little lost in the woods. Eventually I found my way back on the trail I originally came on. Despite that, the camping trip was easy. Went on off-season so I didn't need a reservation. Just showed up and then paid before I left. I simply put money in an envelope and slipped it into a locked metal box (the pay station). I was there for 3 days and only saw 1 other person walk by our campsite. A few cars drove by but other than that it was very private. Would definitely recommend coming here if you just want a space to hang out and pitch a tent.

Campground itself is pretty run down but the bathrooms were clean, the camp sites are huge, and it is extremely affordable.

This is a great secluded campground in the Allegheny national forest. There is plenty of space between each site, and many of them can accommodate large RVs. There are no hookups, but there is a dump station. There is water available onsite from pull handle water pumps, but it was brown, so we didn't use it in our RV holding tank. There is an interesting trail system that goes through the campground that is definitely worth a hike if you're staying here. We were here last summer (June 2020), and it wasn't too crowded. We will definitely stay here again.

I do like this place and there are some good trails. But holy moly, the pot holes are huge. There were also so many caterpillars. I hope someone is aware of this and hopefully working on a solution. I feel like they are killing the trees :/

Clean, quiet and plenty of room between sites. If you plan ahead (at least 3 days before your arrival) you can reserve a specific site. Otherwise it is first come, first served. There is no attendant so there is a self pay/ honor system upon your arrival. This is a rustic camp ground with non-flush out houses and hand pumps for water.
