We stayed here for a night to move our daughter into OSU. Close to Columbus, easy to get too, flat, nice RV sites. The staff was super friendly.

We stayed at Alton RV a second time this week because we loved the clean bathrooms and easy in and out. This park is perfect for a one-night stay on your way from point A to B. We needed ice and Barb directed us to the “drive-through” store across US-40. Barb was leaving the office for the day as we were ready to cross the highway and offered us a ride over and back. We got our ice and didn’t have to dodge cars. Such a nice gesture by Barb, and something that saved us some stress and possibly a lot more. Joy, you have a great little campground and one that we will recommend to our RV friends.

Ya know, for a small RV park near an urban area, it's very well organized, mega clean with bathrooms and laundry that are nicer than most newish homes. Close to all the shopping you can possibly need and convenient to downtown Columbus. Will be going back that way in September and we will be staying there again.

We stayed 2 nights while traveling to Columbus for our grandson’s graduation at OSU. Alton RV Park is a small, peaceful campground conveniently located to downtown Columbus. The park has a lovely flower garden. Staff was very accommodating by allowing us to extend our checkout by 1.5 hours as the ceremony ran late. We appreciated that. We’ll definitely stay here again, when in the area. Also, I was able to text the office to book the site and request the extension - she replied immediately via text. Very easy!

We stayed here twice now, very close to shopping yet feels like your out of town, safe and secure. They showers were awesome and the folks were very kind and helpful. Attracts a great group of campers. Definitely the place to stay if you have to be near Columbus

Joy is a joyous host! She made us feel welcome and we enjoyed our stay immensely! We rolled in all the way from California and Alton RV has all the amenities we needed! Showers, water, laundry, and dump services! For our propane fill up we went down the road to Tractor Supply and they were very gracious and kind as well.

Joy is amazing! She immediately came out and greeted us, letting us know about the restrooms, laundry, Internet and caper hookups. It was super quiet. I would definitely stay again!

This is a great place to stay. Truth we only stayed one night on the way to our destination and one night on our way back home. The staff are friendly and so helpful. I love that they call you prior to you coming and send email with details. The sights are spacious, there is a wonderful place to sit around a community fire pit and it’s very quiet here. The bathrooms and laundry are the cleanest we have ever seen. I love the little library’s that are on the grounds! The only reason we gave it 4 stars is due to the spigot to bring water into the RV is too low and hard to work with. But it can be done! We will continue to stop here on our way out East and back home again in our future travels!

Beautifully maintained facilities, from the RV sites to the laundry room & bathrooms. Very welcoming host, extremely safe. Great for long or short term stays as so conveniently located. We researched other sites in the area to include camp grounds which we stayed at and none offered the safety or the cleanliness. More importantly we did not feel comfortable leaving for the day or night at any other Columbus sites and trusting our RV and contents to be safe. Here we feel very comfortable leaving our RV knowing how safe this park is. They have class A RVs that are over 40 feet to small airstream Bambi's parked here safely. Highly recommend.
