Ancient Redwoods RV Park | Redcrest, CA

Rv park loated on the Ave of Gaints. Full hookups . Not overly large so reservations  recommended  especially  peak season  .   There's a gift shop you can explore and nxt door a ice cream place..  The immortal tree is located  there.

A good stop over, beautiful scenery, and clean grounds. Plus, you've got to love the smell of Humboldt during harvest time.
Really, a no frills RV park, smack in the middle of the coastal redwoods. Sites are close together, everything was very clean, large dog open dog area, small "country store" and Knick knack  shop. Star link had clear shot, decent speeds. The South side of the park, the sites get decent shade, the middle sites get sun all day. All hookups worked as expected.
There's a camp host, but you check in at the shop.
Beautiful drive, beautiful area, beautiful smells.

What a fantastic campground.  Right on the avenue of the giants. Stayed for 4 nights.  So much to do in the area if you have a vehicle, if you don't there is still plenty of trails in the area that are great.  We explored so much and got some great relaxation.

Had site 39. Paved with full hookups. Needed leveling boards. Clean park. Very convenient to all the area attractions. Nice to have a laundry facility. It takes quarters. WiFi good enough to stream tv. No Verizon service. Occasionally you would get service but not often. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Sites are spacious and very well kept. Great camp store and gift shop offers an incredible selection. Location is perfect and driving the beautiful Avenue of the Giants to go to and from the campground AMAZING!

This RV parks is a hidden gem! It was very quiet, very well maintained and had   wide, level spaces with full hookups. I also need to give a shout-out to Clay. He helped me when I had problems with my truck. He is an incredible employee and was a pleasure to talk with. We will definitely be coming back!!

Stayed one night, on the way to see the Redwoods. Easy and quick transaction, the grounds were super clean and neat. Nice showers. No playground for the kids, but that was okay since we were just passing through and staying one night. I would recommend.

This park is on the Avenue of the Giants! The sites are a good size and easy to access. We opted for a back in site and the shade was appreciated. The 2 men doing check-ins  were very personable. This is a wonderful smaller park that is well maintained.

VERY clean! Easy in/out for large rigs as well. Very quiet and a nice relaxing space to hangout. Pulled in just for the night passing through. Would stay again! Dog friendly.

It is what it is! It’s an RV park. Grounds are clean and it’s quiet. Easy check in. A little bit “uppity” for us but the location was great for seeing the redwoods. Easy in, easy out. Full hookup sites. Owners were nice.

Ancient Redwoods RV park is a 10 star!!  This is not a resort with a pool so don’t expect it. It is a fantastic park right on Avenue of the Redwoods. The camp hosts do a great job manicuring the park. The store is the best on the avenue. Just know that there is NO CELL SERVICE. It’s not a big deal. They have WiFi. You do have to buy data, but they give you several for free. Electric was spot on 120v but water pressure was a little low at 35psi. We will definitely stay here again. It’s quiet and the sky at night is amazing. This is by far the darkest RV park we’ve ever stayed at night. This park is now in our Top 10 and we’ve stayed at hundreds of parks.

The bathrooms are very clean as well as the whole park.  Showers were not open so unable to comment.  There is a laundromat which I wish I would have used, but didn’t. Walked in them and they are very clean also.  The sites are leveled cement.  We didn’t need to use our levelers.  The staff are extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating.  Their gift shop is worth exploring.  Definitely would stay there again.  Highly recommend.
