Wonderful place to camp. No sewers or water so fill your tank, but peaceful and lovely. Great history, so spend some time checking out the fabulous visitors center and pick up some pamphlets and do the Booneslick loop and historical sites. Mowed and pristine. Kept very well. Be sure to visit the Lyceum Theater for a play, Huston's for dinner and the shops are wonderful. Love the ladies who make stuff for their shop. That's super cool. ❤️🤍💙

Such a beautiful and well-kept site. Definitely a secret hidden gem in the SHS system. Arrow Rock is full of things to see and do. Visitor Center is among the best in the entire state with helpful staff, interactive exhibits, gift shop, and so much insight into local history. Don't miss a memorable trip to Arrow Rock!

We stayed overnight in the camp ground, which was beautiful. The camp host was very friendly, experienced, and helpful. He got us a site right next to the bath house (since my wife is disabled). We took our dogs on several excellent walks. Be sure to perform tick checks on your pets and yourselves since we did find a few on each of us. We didn't take in any of the other park attractions since we were traveling past when we decided to stay. The cost was very inexpensive and well worth much more. The bath house was nice. We would return to spend more time there.

Arrow Rock State Historic site campground, Arrow Rock, MO. This campground and the very cute little historic town of Arrow Rock, are about 13 miles off I 70. We spent the night and got in late so didn’t see much of the campground. It was well maintained and the restrooms w/ showers were located between the 2 loops w/ electric campsites. The tent area also had a shower/ restroom bldg. Each electric site had a fire pit and picnic table . There are nice mature trees in the campground but not many low bushes to give privacy between sites.

Cute old town but you can absolutely kill your can with the rock drains on the sides of the roads, you have been warned. There was only 2 stores open when we were there. Ice cream shop and gift shop. So not much to do unless you check and see what days the other shops are open

Beautiful area right next to the Missouri River full of lush green and well preserved old buildings. A lot of great history. This was a nice little stop on our road trip. Also, the town has some absolutely beautiful shops and delicious homemade ice cream

By far one of the best maintained state parks in Missouri. A short walk from the camp site is a quaint little village with historic sites, ice cream, and diner. So much history surrounds you as you make the hike. The pond nearby is well stocked with fish as well. We caught several bluegill and bass. Wonderful playground for children on the way to the village.
