We stayed at buckboard crossing campground for two nights. The views were beautiful with nice sunset and starry nights. We've seen deer in and around the campground, and there are also several Osprey nests. The camp sites are gravel, and somewhat level. However the grass was not cut and the firepits were full. We didn't use the bath house. The camphost is not with in the campground. This campground is a la card. You have your campsite fee , you have a $12 a day fee for electricity and also a $10 fee to use the dump site each time. I belive the dump should be free of charge if you have camping reservations. This campground is through rec.gov however a private company takes care of it. The road leading into the campground is paved but be aware of some very big potholes. Which in my opinion should be fixed. Not a very busy campground.

Nice, basic campground. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. No soap in bathrooms. Well-maintained in the areas natural state. Pretty views. Campground across from lake.

Enjoyed this small campground for a couple of weeks. Visited alot of nearby attractions- rode horses and took several drives in our 4 x 4, which were so beautiful. There is a bit of noise as you're right off the highway, but we had no trouble sleeping at night. Plus, the scenery is really nice. Owner/Manager/ everyone was so nice, and we even had Amazon deliveries. Good experience!

It felt like a ghost town campground. Never saw someone checking on site or cleaning it. Small black bugs hung out in bathroom, had to flush them away before I used the toilet. There was power but no water. The sunset was beautiful. No cell service. Dry tall grass around campground so watch out if you decide on a fire. Too hot for us to have a fire.

Great place to camp! We got our 38.5 ft RV in, no problem. Only a few electric spots but very reasonable price, especially with a senior pass. $23.50 We had a 50 amp site. No water hookups at the camp site, but a spigot is by the restroom. Dump site on location for a $10 fee. Only issue was phone signal, Verizon was hit and miss.

We were there on 6/26/2021 to 7/1/2021. Dead branches and trees laying on ground.. Dumpsters overflowing and when you go fishing in the morning u better be back between 9am and 6pm or no shower. No soap or no way to dry your hands in the bathrooms. They had a line break and bathrooms were shut down with no signs on the door explaining what was going on. Several upset people wondering why bathrooms shut down. We left a day early and will not be back again.

We stay at this campground several times a year and really like it a lot! Sites are big enough to park our 5th wheel side by side with our boat. Very convenient for fishing. Hot showers are wonderful when it's cold outside and bathrooms are clean. Service varies year to year as camp hosts change, but all in all a good place to stay!
