First of all, this is still a 5-star review because everything during our stay was perfectly fine. However, I wanted to share a few observations that may be helpful for other travelers. The first thing to note is that the identity of the park feels a bit unclear. It is a large property and, at first glance, it seems to be geared toward RV travelers looking for outdoor activities and nature. However, it also functions partly as a mobile home community, with many working-class residents living there full-time. Everyone was friendly, nobody bothered us, and we had no negative experiences at all. It simply feels like two different vibes coexist in the same space: people living their daily lives and travelers looking for a nature getaway by the river and mountains. The combination doesn't always blend seamlessly. Another aspect to consider is that the park is located right next to the highway. While the noise was not particularly bothersome, it does make it harder to fully disconnect or feel immersed in nature. The natural surroundings are nice, especially the riverfront area and the mountain views. That said, it is very clear that the management is making a genuine effort to improve the property, and they are definitely heading in the right direction. The bathrooms are recently renovated and generally quite clean. The laundry facilities are also nice. Unfortunately, there was no laundry detergent available for purchase when we stayed. As travelers, having detergent available on-site would have been very convenient. The convenience store looked great and likely normally offers these items, but unfortunately it was closed during our visit. The grounds are mostly gravel, with limited green spaces and relatively few mature trees. However, you can clearly see the efforts being made to improve this, as new trees have been planted. Hopefully, in a few years, there will be more greenery and shade. The property manager personally came over to welcome us, which was a very thoughtful touch and made us feel appreciated as guests. There are not many RV park options in this area, and overall this is a good and perfectly acceptable choice. I truly hope the management continues its efforts because the property has a lot of potential, and with time it can develop the identity and atmosphere it deserves.

Location, location, location! This is the only RV Park with hook ups from the west side of Vail Pass to the Garfield County line. Staff are friendly. Sites are perfectly flat. Good size Dog Park that’s cleaner than most RV park dog parks. Bathrooms are clean and new. The Wi-Fi works better than at most RV parks. Being able to access the river is a big bonus. The highway noise from i70 is less annoying than I anticipated, especially later in the day.

F101 is probably the best back-in site at RiverDance, the views and sound of the river are unbeatable. The site was level as well and the restrooms/showers very clean. There was no staff on site that day but the contactless check-in was easy. There is a little store coming soon and it looks like they were building a playground by the guest parking spots. We had planned on staying two nights but snow was coming and we had a long drive ahead so we left a night early and the manager was kind enough to refund us the second night, even last minute. This kind of customer service will definitely make us come back! Well done RiverDance!

Newer to the RV life and this camp ground was definitely great. We have a 46' 5th wheel and it accommodated us very well. We were welcomed by a nice gentleman who was the maintenance/ground keeper who explained the layout and amenities. Even recommended a few unique spots to visit aside from the usual touristy spots. With the changes and updates that they are currently doing you can definitely see their focus and attention to detail for all travelers. We definitely will return for a longer period of time. The nearby towns were nice and friendly. Thanks for a nice welcome.

My family and I have stopped here twice since being in Colorado and each time we have been pleasantly welcomed by Kyle,the property manager. He made sure we were all set up and had passwords to the restrooms and WiFi.The restrooms were always clean and the grounds looked well kept. Would definitely revisit and recommend more family!

Great location and quality facilities. Riverdance RV resort seems to be a fairly new place, but they are really putting a lot of money and effort into creating a quality experience. The site layout, facilities and infrastructure are very high quality. There was some construction that looked almost complete as well. Probably a gym or some sort of community building, so things will be even better than when we stayed. There is a paved path that runs at least 3 miles in both directions that is good for dog walking or bike riding. The river is probably really great in the summer. I would sta here again and I do recommend this place.

Such a great park. Will def be going back. Perfectly situated between Vail and Glenwood springs. Very well priced for a clean park with A+ bathrooms. Staff and residents were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking in the area.

Riverdance is under renovation and coming out beautifully. The whole park is rerocked with beautiful colors and textures. The site was nice and level. All utilities convenient and working. We were on the lower level right across from the Eagle River. Picnic tables right along the river were nice. All of the restrooms and out buildings were new and they were still redoing the office. There were some mature trees with lots of new plantings. All in all, very much improved and very nice.

We’ve stayed at Riverdance for the last 5 years. They recently completed improvements and expanded and the new place is great. Flat sites, convenient and easy to use hookups, and the new bathrooms are clean and so very nice! Access to the river is nice and easy. And you’re located right along the highway for easy access to nearby attractions but enough distance to reduce the noise.

Good campground. A little far from other towns but seems to be the best option in the area. The onsite manager was pleasant, and they were easy to work with when we needed to modify our reservation. Only suggestion would be to have more grass areas and dog stations, as the available areas can be difficult to get to depending on your site, particularly at night.

A great location with excellent amenities! The host was very helpful and even allowed us to push back our check-out time to accommodate an ever changing soccer tournament schedule. If you have questions or need assistance, they are very quick to respond. The park is under some construction but we were notified of this before making a reservation. Overall, a great place to stay for access to Vail Valley.

What a beautiful park. We’ve always stayed at Riverdance RV. But this last stay was exceptionally beautiful with all the upgrades and large open spaces. Had a great time and will definitely always stay at Riverdance RV Resort while traveling or visiting family there. Thank you Riverdance. 😁 Stop and stay. You won’t be disappointed! Stopped overnight here during our move from Washingon DC to SLC. Absolutely stunning place, the location is amazing. Probably the top spot where we stayed on our trip - Gypsum as a town is just a few miles away along the highway, the park itself was easy to get into, and plenty of outdoor things to do. Facilities were clean, and water was pipping hot right away. We only stayed the one night, but there were plenty of folks there on extended stays - and we saw plenty of folks fishing and rafting along the Eagle River.

Super small spot but they are working on expanding. Gorgeous views of the mountains and the river. They are going to be adding other features but it is an awesome place to stay!

The rent for a lot is absolutely overpriced. It is in a beautiful location on the Eagle River. There is no dump station and the place is being overhauled for tiny homes at the moment. Any one looking for a spot I would encourage to go further west where it is more affordable, remember the more your charged the less you have to spend on the things you love to do.
