The only thing better than the views at this campground is the management and staff!! We were fortunate enough to stay 6 months while working at the local hospital. I have been more than impressed by the on-site management, specifically Mitzi, Jamie, and Mann for their relentless work and availability to all campers. Thank you three for a wonderful stay!!

Aurora is amazing the management is fantastic, Jaime and Mitzi, they work very well with each other to make sure everyone is happy!! I have been a month to month stay for 3 years and the park is very quiet, clean bathrooms, showers, great fishing and most of the time awesome people to meet. In California it gets dry during the summer and lush green in the winter, as well as beautiful fall colors. This is the best Rv park around the lake so the price is worth it. The management is very attentive when someone needs something done or w trying to make everyone happy which as we all know can be difficult at times but they handle it w a professional attitude and I have nothing bad to say at all. I love this place!!! Thanks Jaime, Mitzi and Mannđ

My fiancĂ© and I stayed one night with two small dogs. We had a pleasant stay! We had a camper van and it was super easy to connect it to the water and electric facilities. We got there around 8pm so we werenât able to check out their shop or food services. The bathrooms were clean and the general area as well. It was slow enough that they booked us with an empty spot on each side. It was quite through out the night and the views from spot #5 were amazing in the morning.

Great place! We stayed only one night in site 7. It had fantastic views and was very clean. The bath and shower house are new and clean! Great hot showers!!! Would definitely recommend and the owners were so great!

The water side of Aurora RV Park is very shady and cool. I got space #4, so I was very happy. Had a great view of the water from the back end of my RV in my bedroom. Nice picnic tables at each spot. Across the street, those spaces donât have too many trees for shade here in July when it was 98 today. The bathrooms & showers were clean, so itâs a great place to come back to.

Excellent rv sites especially on the water side! Jamie was so helpful and accommodating. After 4 nights, we moved on to our next campground, only to find it was infested with hornets! We called Jamie and asked if she had room for us to come back for 3 more nights. She squeezed us in and we couldnât be happier đ! The campground is very chill and relaxing. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Had a great time, will be back!

We chose Aurora RV Park for our very first trip in our new trailer, looking for a quiet and peaceful spot to relax. Based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews, we had high hopes. Wanting a more secluded experience, we opted not to book a lakefront site, thinking the back area would be more low-key and less trafficked. Unfortunately, this ended up being a big misconception. What we didnât realizeâand what wasnât made clear on the website or in the reviews we readâis that the back portion of Aurora RV Park functions more like a residential trailer park, with the vast majority of sites occupied by long-term residents whoâve been there for years. This dynamic made us feel more like we were intruding on someone elseâs neighborhood than enjoying a vacation. It wasnât the getaway weâd envisioned, and we felt a bit uncomfortable during our stay. That said, the grounds were well-maintained and very quiet, which we did appreciate. After walking down to the lakefront sites, we saw exactly why Aurora has such good reviews. That area is beautiful, clean, and clearly geared toward vacationers. If we return in the future, weâll definitely be booking a spot on the lakefront side only. One recommendation to the park management: it would be helpful to clearly differentiate between the vacation and long-term residential areas on your website. Updating the photos to reflect the current condition of all areasânot just the picturesque lakefrontâwould also go a long way in setting the right expectations.

Aurora rv park is one of my favorite places to stop and camp. Really helpful, friendly nice people. Park is clean and overlooking Clear Lake. Good place to fish too! I wanted to leave another review because we stopped and spent the night at Aurora RV Park on the way home. Always a great place to stop. Jamie is the nicest park manager we have meat in our travels so far. Several people were catching fish!

We were traveling through the area and needed a decent place to spend a night in our RV. Our stay at Aurora was much much better than our expectation. We stayed at the lake front and will recommend Aurora to any family, especially a family with young kids like ours. It is next to a park with play structures, where our kids spend several hours on. The place is clean with a nice view. There was an open space that i even played bouncy ball with my kids. The shower was very clean as well, in case you need to use one.

We enjoyed our stay at Aurora Rv. Park. The manager Jamie was very nice and allowed us to move to a different site than we had been assigned. The bathrooms and showers are neat, clean and look new. The lake is right there for boating and fishing. If you go out to eat Judy's Junction is just down the road and is excellent, 5 star. The park was quiet with nice people rving there. AND there is a gas station close by with cheap gas $3.73 as of 3/23/25. At J bar S ranch down the road 15 minutes you can buy Buffalo meat.

Aurora RV Resort was a great little place to go camping. Jamie was so great and helpful. She helped us upgrade to a waterfront site, because they are the only ones with picnic tables and fire pits. So if you are looking for more of a camping experience, definitely go with sites 1-7. The sites are small, but you are right on the water. It is a great spot for fishing. We had fun using the free paddle boat and kayaks too. They provided life jackets. They also had a couple fishing poles you could use too. Overall, we had a great experience! Visited during Spring Break in March 2025.

We got lakeside spot and view from our RV is great. Very well maintained site with table and fire pit. Very calm and quiet. Staffs are super nice too. We originally booked for mid February but the forecast was snowing for a couple of days. Stuff offered to change the date without any extra charge. There are many wineries, about 20~30min away and we enjoyed tasting too. I also caught bass from shore. If you like camping, fishing, wine tasting and beautiful lake view, this is the great place to spend your time.

Stayed here couple months ago. Had a spot right on the lake. Beautiful sunset and gracious owner. Kayaks, canoes and one of the best bass lakes in the country. Thanks

Staying at this park was one of the most relaxing vacations I've had in a long time. The owner, Mike put us in a nice spot right on the lake. I can't say enough about the staff, Brian, Uria, Jason, and Deb were there to accommodate any needs we had. I saw Jason out at 8:00 am washing the picnic tables which were made of cement and tile, very cool and spotless. The campground was clean and I never saw any garbage or litter on the ground. I saw Brian everyday working around the place (as well as Jason). Now for the campground.......as you can see by the pictures I posted the view is spectacular, the sunsets are gorgeous, (even in January) and the fish are plentiful. Mike provides free use of canoes and kayaks and I couldn't get my husband off the water! If your looking for relaxation and peace, this is the place. We were there for 12 days and wanted to stay even longer. Bathrooms are clean and I had hot showers. I would have given 5 stars but the laundry room could use a little TLC. Also, I had a hard time getting in there to do a load of laundry because it was very busy with people coming and going. I was surprised because the campground didn't appear crowded. There are only 2 washers and dryers which is fine but if someone comes and does 6 loads of laundry that takes up a whole day. If you want my 2 cents worth, perhaps putting a sign up sheet on the door with 2 hour time slots for each person, just an idea. That being said this place is AMAZING!!!!!!!! My husband is already bugging me to go back! We'll see you soon I'm sure and thanks for helping me rejuvenate from the cold & rainy Pacific Northwest!

Traveling on a family emergency, came in late to Clearlake. Had trouble finding a spot to camp until we called Aurora. She was so kind! Gave us a space right on the lake for check-in after the office closed. So beautiful we would have stayed if not for the circumstances. Next day Deb and Uriah (sp?) again were so friendly and helpful on checkout. Bathrooms really nice and clean. Couldn't have asked for more except some sunshine; it was an oasis when we needed it. Would return if ever again nearby! (We stayed in the RV park, not the hotel.)
