Very well located near a great walking/biking trail that is perfect for the family. We also went to the Avila farms petting zoo next door. Short drive to the beach at Pismo, shell beach or Avila.. The actual grounds are nice as well they have a play ground, Mimi golf a pool (closes to early is my only recommendation) and a rec room. There staff is friendly and helps with getting you backed in with your rig. I did the " deluxe " space with a patio,p it has a fire pit and a BBQ was such a great memory.. Very much recommend.

Van lifers BEWARE!!! Even if you are self contained, you cannot stay here unless your vehicle was manufactured as an RV. No conversions (or discussions) allowed. The camp “host” - and I use that term very loosely - started yelling at us the minute we pulled in. The website states that you must be self-contained, not that you have to have a manufactured unit, as was yelled at me. And yelling is the correct term as other campers came out at the disruption. I just became a KOA member a few days and after this experience, will likely never use a KOA again. I have never been so humiliated for a simple misunderstanding.

A great little campground for trailer/RV campers. It's clean and small but packed with amazing things to do. Great pool and hot tub and nice playground for the kids and quiet (aside from highway noise) and the staff are very friendly. It's a true pleasure to stay here. I've been here twice and both times it was great.

There aren't many full RV hookup sites, so we opted for a cabin which was pretty great. It was a deluxe cabin and the bathroom was clean. The area around the park is the typical California campground with plenty of beautiful trees and flowers, and the staff were so helpful. We had a few questions about things to do in the area, and they gave us some pretty good information. We enjoyed perusing the farmer's market, and happened to go during the spring time and caught the Taste of Pismo wine and music festival. It was a lot of fun, and we'd highly recommend it. There's a biking trail right outside the campsite entrance, which we knew beforehand and brought our bikes. We had a blast hitting the trails ever evening.
