You will not find a more beautiful park on the Medina river. Pioneer in Bandera is connected to the city park, so you have access to shallow and deep parts of the river. The owners have added a wonderful walking trail along the water edge that is so nice! The laundry room is super clean and the owners are super courteous and helpful. There is something for everyone! You can walk to the cute shops or the famous 11th Street Bar, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the deer each evening! The spots may be tight but if you just talk to the front desk when you make a reservation and tell them what you need, they are very accommodating.

This is a beautiful park close to downtown with a pool and an enclosed dog area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for spring break 2022 with our 2 boys and Boxer. The park is well kept and the lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Its located by the Medina River which is very pretty. Fredicksburg is only an hour away so we spent a day there shopping. Garner State park is also about an hour away so we spent another day of our trip there hiking (when visiting Garner its highly recommended to purchase day passes in advance as they fill up and will turn you away at the gate). Bandera is also a fun town to explore with shops and restaurants. Overall our stay was great, a few things to mention: 1. The park is located near a busy highway so road noise was loud at times, especially motorcycles. 2. The camping spots are very close together, a little too crowded for me personally. 3. No camp fires are allowed which during our trip was a bummer considering it was in the low 40s at night. They do have quiet hours at night which is appreciated when camping with kids. Overall it was a great trip and you can't beat the Hill Country!

Merle and Rich McDonald - We had so much fun at this park! Super friendly staff, and clean laundry room. So nice to be able to walk right into the town to eat and shop. Also great hiking along the creek. Missed the Mardi Gras this year but will be sure to make it next year! San Antonio 1 hour away, but not a bad drive at all. We drive a 32 ft sunseeker, and pull a small Jeep.
