We stayed for one week. The sites are very spacious and ours was level. The bathroom and laundry room are clean. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is the massive pothole as you exit the campground. Makes it difficult to pull Out into traffic and not good for vehicles and RV's to bounce through. KOA, how about filling it up with gravel???

Service was great. Didn't stay there but needed propane late at night and they opened to accommodate us. We are so Grateful to the kind staff. Came back days later for a refill. All the staff was kind and welcoming

The campsite was fine, The pull through is a little short. There were many permanent campers. The showers I just been remodeled but one stall had no warm water and the other had the shower curtain to fall off. I fixed one side so I could take a shower. I think for the most part the sites are level.

We have been staying at this KOA for almost ten years and it has changed for the worse once the owner sold it to a big company to run under the KOA name still. This campground used to be fun and have a great mix of people (seasonal, locals, out of state people, tourists). But not anymore! It is mostly seasonal rentals and employees that live in campers that all have a click and seem to run off anyone they don't like. We hadn't even unhooked our camper yet and they come running up to us saying our 14 year old is riding his bike without a helmet on. We have stayed here almost a dozen times and never had helmets for the kids even when they were 5 years old. They yell at the kids and have cameras all over the park if they see the kids out after dark. The pool was so cold could not go in it even in August. We had a nice site but too close to the road and the traffic was heard all day and night. They also try to make it like you have to pay extra to lock in your site or reserve right away on line they are almost full. What a scam! We paid extra for a patio site and to hold it and the campground was almost empty the whole 6 days we stayed there. We probably had over 50 sites we could have chosen for less $. My three kids wanted to leave the campground within the first 24 hours there they hated the changes so bad. The nice ice cream store closed down. They don't make hot food options anymore. And the store/ office closes at 5pm! That is unheard of at a KOA. At least 7 or 8 pm at most campgrounds. This campground would only be good for adults passing thru to hook up and sleep for one night now. We saw most of the seasonal people we talked to have already left or want to find another campground because they don't like it there anymore either. This campground will be a 50+ member only campground soon. If you stayed here years ago when Chris and his wife ran this campground and loved the place then you will be disappointed now. I would have Chris's attitude any day over this old folk run click campground now.

Stayed here overnight in one of the Domes and I’ve just got to say this is one of the cleanest and most well put together campgrounds I’ve ever been to. The staff was absolutely wonderful, the Dome was very comfortable and even had a small AC unit in it as well as mini fridge! They have events planned out that campers of all ages can enjoy, nature trails to explore, playground and jump pad for the kids, and a pool! I can’t wait until the next time we can camp here again ( it will be soon!!! )

Chris and his crew run a really cool campground and the restaurant food is very good. It's a great place to get souvenirs or a bite to eat even if you don't camp. He has an awesome store with something for everyone. Thank you Chris!!!

Pizza is pretty good and the owner's are really nice people!! Love that it's close to home too, especially on nights we just don't feel like cooking!

After researching this place I would not stay here because of power problems

Was going to stay here during summer. Glad I didn't. Reviews on the KOA site shows enough of how the owners feel about campers. The other reviews on Google paint a better picture. Avoid the location. KOA brand needs to step in and either fix the issues or pull out before losing customers. I would recommend other campgrounds over this, even if it is closer for some, go for better service and guarantee reliability of power. Really want to see how the owner is towards paying customers? Check YouTube. He going to pull the "call the cops " card one to many times

My husband and I spent last summer here. It was a great stay. The owners are generous and extremely helpful. The grandkids enjoyed weekend activities and everyone was super friendly toward us. Getting pizza delivered from the cafe right to our site was a nice added perk as was the delicious ice cream shop on the premises. And the location provided an easy drive to coastal towns and Acadia National Park. Whether you’re looking for a seasonal or vacation spot, this campground is a great option.
