I arrived late in the afternoon early evening and had to go to City Hall, only a few blocks away, to fill out a camping permit and pay $20. The Campsites are right along the river and there are only a few with electricity. A girl next to me was camping in a tent but paid for electric and had some guy with a big camping rig pull in to her spot and set up camp while she was shopping. There absolutely no privacy as every site is very close together and nothing breaking the view between. But it was clean and quiet. There are bathrooms and showers about a block away. They were not very clean when I was there.

Nice little camping spot right off the road next to a river. Easy to get in and out for camping. I wished there was a shower facility. It said on the sign there was a bathhouse but it was just a bathroom with a drain in the floor. Since it’s close to the main road it was a little noisy, but for a quick stop off it was a great spot to camp.

Nice park, easy access from the road, borders a river that you can fish.

Seen three deer and a trophy 53 inch Northern pike, beautiful location and the local residents are as friendly as they come. Highly recommend for adventures and camping trips for families.

Free wifi, bathrooms electric and showers. Only $8 tent, $12 camper. Amazing value close to the Kickapoo river for kayaking.

Everything was amazing here. Great camping rates, free shower, riverfront, and a park. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because the wifi would connect, but did not work.
