Really enjoy this Core of Engineers campground. Need to make reservations through Recreation.gov. We stay at this campground at least once a year. Through the years we have stayed in different loops. Decided we like the view loop because we don't have to unhook our boat that we tow. The overflow parking for boats is not easy to get to, their boat launch is very steep. The sites are paved but you need levelers. Electric & water hook-ups.

Campground is very nice. Shower and bathrooms are clean. Camphosts are very helpful and friendly. Very scenic and beautiful.

Very good campground. If there is a fault, it was the cleanliness of the bathhouse. But, there was a hatch going on and bugs were everywhere.

A perfect place to chill. all campers are friendly. I've never had a problem there in all the years I've camped there. I love the nature there most of all. woodpeckers, deer, frogs, squirrels, I just love it here.

Gorgeous RV and Tent campsite, maintained by the US Army Corp of Engineers. Water and Power available, even at primitive sites. Hot showers, US Federal Park Discounts for Seniors. Beaches, lake, amphitheater. Some noise issues from uncontrolled dogs barking and people genning around in noisy vehicles, but otherwise quiet location.

Canal campground is at the northern end of the Land Between the Lakes. It's easy to get to, and the main roads are nice blacktop. However, most of the loop roads are narrow, rough, and twisty. There is a good choice of sites from primitive to full hookup. Some of the loop roads can be difficult for big rigs. Our stay was overall, very enjoyable.

We've camped here 3 times, a week at a time. Clean, beautiful, friendly. Has a beach, boat ramp, play structures, deer. It's reasonably priced, and includes water and electricity at each site. We bring out boat and have a blast!!!

So many noisy golf carts parading by all day, and in the evening it's much worse. Camped here in our fifth-wheel for 4 nights. Its a pretty campground with lots of shade, but way too noisy.

Nature at its best. Not overly crowded. Maybe I should lie about that. best kept secret and all that. We love it. Skunks galore. Keep animals close. This is our retreat of choice.

Great views of Lake Barkley Nice camping sites

Great spot with large, well designed sites, generally (but not always) with easy access for a good sized RV. Roads big enough for large trailers, unlike so many other campgrounds in the area. Nice facilities, well maintained. Some at higher elevations have full hookups. Great views too. Best CG we saw in LBL area.

Wonderful campground! Had a lakeside site. So peaceful. Loved having the deer just roaming around the campground. The skunks in the evening, not so much! Lol. Already looking forward to our next trip here!
