Bearmouth Chalet RV Park

This roadside RV park is one of those rare "overnight" campgrounds that I wished I stayed longer than one night on the way to Yellowstone NP. The location near the freeway was easy, but the best part was Sharon, one of the owners. She was so helpful making our stay enjoyable. From the first time I talked to her on the phone to make the reservation (so easy) to meeting her when we arrived (easy check in and she let us choose our site before parking) everything was wonderful. Some might not like hearing the freeway, but it wasn't terrible. The bathrooms and showers were also spotless. Sharon also told us to not miss going to the excellent ghost town nearby. The RV park is very close to the more rugged southern entryway which needs an SUV with decent ground clearance to visit, but it's worth it. Overall I am super impressed with this park and more importantly, the owners who have pride of ownership and great customer service.

Traveling across the country, Bearmouth was the best RV park we stayed. Sharon and her husband were the nicest, most hospitable and accommodating people we dealt with. They really made us feel like family. The grounds and facilities are very nice and clean and the laundry is one of the cheapest places we found. The nightly stays are also very reasonably priced. We will definitely stay again when in the Missoula area.

We stayed for two days in the RV park as a reststop between glacier and Yellowstone and could not have picked a better place. The campground and facilities are spotless and Sharon and Paul are the best hosts we have ever encountered, they went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The surroundings are beautiful as well. Would definitely recommend!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at Bearmouth Chalet and RV Park. We stayed in their newly renovated lodge rooms and they were stunning. The perfect place for families or individuals, very safe and comfortable. My husband said it was the best sleep he has had in a long time. It was the perfect stop along I-90 to rest and it is perfectly tucked between Butte and Missoula. Paul and Sharon take such beautiful care of the property, and are the most hospitable hosts. Truly kind and generous people. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

Great place to stop for a night or two. Easy on and off the freeway. It would be a super fun spot for a group of RV campers. Don't let the comments about the train or road noise stop you as it isn't bad at all. Sharon and Paul were amazing hosts and helped us out of a technical jam or two during our two night stay. Wonderful people! Thank you!

Hosts Sharon and Paul run this lovely place along 93. We spent one night here having had the misfortune of experiencing a flat tyre along the highway. Paul was kind enough to help. He fixed our tyre and Sharon made us a lovely dinner because it was late and we were beat. They are such a kind and lovely couple. The accommodation was beyond our expectations. The rooms were large and fully furnished with beautiful touches. Some come with attached bathrooms while others are shared. Everything is clean and very homely. Highly recommended.

This review is long overdue! These are the kindest and sweetest park owners I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. During the summer of 2023 we had an unexpected family tragedy which caused us to cancel our travel plans. I remember clearly the call I made to cancel our reservations...expecting the usual. I broke down while explaining the reason for the cancellation and the owners were so genuinely kind to me. We stayed in the summer of 2024 and were traveling in an RV with my parents who were also in an RV. Upon check in, they remembered me and even asked how things were going. I was beyond impressed to say the least. The park is beautiful along the banks of the Clark Fork. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The campgrounds and facilities are super clean with manicured lawns and flowers everywhere around the chalet and cabins showing pride of ownership. Just off the freeway and on the river with fishing access, large shady sites including water and electric. We will definitely stay here again.

I spoke to Tracy on the phone to reserve. She was a lovely, helpful lady who made us look forward to dipping our toes in the cold river and taking warm showers! The site was perfect- shady and roomy, with a short walk to the facilities that were clean with hot water. This place was a gem: reasonably priced, friendly service, and great location.

Amazing, down to earth people. My boyfriend’s car had difficulty and would not stop overheating. We called them to see if they could help and they said they could if we could make it. 1 mile and 45 minutes later, we got the car there. They immediately looked at his car and got pellets to stop a leak for the rest of our drive to Butte. We offered money but they declined repeatedly. His only wish was to call once we arrived home safe. And on top of it, the property was clean and kept up and in an amazing place. Absolutely fantastic thank you!!!!!

Myself and our installers stayed here for a few days. Beautiful location, beautifully clean, immaculate bathrooms. The two running the place, super awesome people. I was in the Jail cabin. Slept comfortably and moved to the hotel my last night, same comfortable sleep. 10/10 stars from me.

This camp ground is family owned, and run. Great hospitality and service. They treat you like family and make sure your stay is pleasant and fun! The Clark Fork river runs along the whole property which has great fishing, or you can just grab your tube or canoe and have a lazy day just floating down the river. I highly recommend this place!

This park is really nice and clean. The folks that run it are very friendly and the flowers are amazing. I wish I had taken photos because they really try to make three place look cared for. Yes, you do hear the train and traffic but it seriously is really not that noticeable. Thumbs up. Make that two thumbs up.
