Great beautiful place to swim on beaver for just the day. It is my favorite campground too.

The park attendant was either a former hall monitor or always wanted to be one. We literally had just pulled up and he was like a dog on a bone. After he started repeating himself (assuming insecure), I said I hear you the first time, did you not hear me the first time, we literally just pulled up. He went straight to I will call the Sheriff. I told him to go ahead. The park ranger came down ten minutes later and was so friendly. He asked if everything was alright with our campsite and if we had any issues. Then asked what the park attendant said. After that he said I want to make sure everything is alright with your site and ensuring him it was and we were good, he went on his way. Everytime he came by he was super friendly. Park Ranger 10/10 & Park Attendant 0/10. I have camped here on and off for over 20 years without incident. This time we had the issue with the Park Attendant and someone stole 3 bags of firewood from our site while we were not there.

Loved it! We were in site #7. Our camper is 23 ft long and fit just fine. BUT... if u get this site, drive in from the"wrong way". In our opinion, #9 is the best, then #8, then#7. That little section is secluded and in the trees- it's lovely! The lake was gorgeous with lots of places to walk down & swim/ float even if you didn't have a boat. There was a playground fit kids and the bath houses were immaculate. We got water on our way in, across from site 17. There's water near #7 but you'll need about 50-60 ft hose to access it. Eureka Springs is nearby and is a quaint little town with lots of shops. And don't miss the ThornCrown Chapel!

This is an RV park, but does allow tents and camping. The bathroom and showers are well maintained as well as the grounds. I will say that only a few sites have spaces for big tents. They're more designed for RV's.

Beautiful park, lots of lake access, very clean. Definately a do-over.

Great place to camp. The water is so clear. Campsites are pretty level. Good fishing on the lake as well as north of the dam.

It's part of Beaver Dam. Don't forget to pay when you enter the park. It allows you to park in the park with whatever vehicle you have (RV, truck, or boating). We only pay for the day stay because we mainly spent the day at the swimming grounds. There's lots to do.

Would have given it 5 stars but the Park Ranger was bit annoying. Stopped my son and his girlfriend and tried to get them to pay a day use fee even though we had a campsite and were in the system for 2 more weeks. After that debacle and getting it sorted we didn't see anyone again. Other than the lack of communication between the campsite and the government website you're required to register through. Beautiful water and sites far enough away from each other. Boat ramp and only 25$ for a 7 day fishing license if you need it. A public swim area roped off for young ones and parking on the shore at my site for my boat and my seadoos. The reservation site is a bit of a pain. Site i was in was 22 a night with power. 30amp service. No water but there was a spigot about 40 yards away I was able to top my water off at a week in. Dump station as well at park entrance. If you want a reservation I recommend checking all the way up til the day you arrive as some actually cancel. Since you have to prepay online and they do offer refunds if you need to cancel (with a 10$ fee) some cancel the day before or day of. Enjoy.

Site 23 was great for 2 hammocks! (ground was real hard for stakes, tied out to big rocks) site 22 and 24 ( i think) had a little private beach access which would be great for kiddos. 23 had easy access to water for kayaks. bathhouse was nice and clean. (not very hot water) Take your own soap to potty was weird, but whatever. Water shoes a must, those little rocks are sharp! This place is absolutely beautiful and i would love to come back

Loved it so much! Super beautiful here on lot 12 this morning!! Very close to the water front and boat dock! Has somewhat level grassy areas here for our tent and pavement with plenty of parking for the trailer popup, the truck and the minivan too! This site doesnt have a built deck around or a picnic table cover but we were still very happy. Less dust than the lost trail south lot we were just at. I would give 5 stars for more frequent water spigots since not all lots have water hook ups but other very lovely. We have a few trees to hang a line too! We thoroughly enjoyed it! Driving towards the camp ground has beautiful scenery. Once you get to the front gate you can see the lake. Staff was super nice and helpful. Sites are smaller in size but perfect for your pop-up or RV. They do have sites directly on water front which were beautiful. Also available are back in sites or pull through for your pop up out RV. Sites have 30 amp hook ups. Water is available however NOT to each individual site itself. Bathrooms are the cleanest I've seen in a very long while at any other camp site I've been to. Lake has clear water with nice swimming area. Also, playground and volleyball court also at Park. We were very impressed with everything about this area and will definitely be back. Only a thirty minute drive to Eureka Springs from area and easy to make multiple trips back and forth if needing a rest. Boat ramps also available at park however we did not use them.
