We have traveled all over for camping and this is the absolute worse place we have stayed. All the trash was overflowing. The bathrooms were nasty and not usable. One of the pools was dark brown. The rec room was nasty and dirty. Everything about this place was outdated and nasty. I had considered purchasing the membership but not a chance!! I can't believe I paid so much for this place, never happening again. I would rate it less than one star of I could!!!

This place isn't what it use to be. I was here several years ago and it was much nicer. The store was open and there were activities to do with the family. Now that isn't the case. It's horribly dusty and pretty unkempt with sulfuric smelling water. The site tables and benches are in disrepair. The thing that gets me the most though is the lack of bathroom cleaning. The staff is signing off on the cleaning, but there is nothing being done. The same rotting excrement has been in the toilet for nearly a week now unflushable. Used q-tips on the floor for days. And now underwear in the bathroom. It never smells of cleaner and the other toilets are dirty. It's plain gross. Take heed of the bad reviews. The 5 star ones seem fake at this point. And yes, I could clean some of these things up, but as a guest, that isn't my job.

We paid $100. Per night we weren’t members, for water and electric. Sites were large and looked like a forest service campground. It was quiet! Very dusty. Some picnic tables couldn’t even be sat upon because they were bowed. The pool area was overgrown with weeds and the pool itself was chipping and pealing. There were two pools and one was very large and the other regular size. The bathroom at the pool area was very clean and seemed to have been in much better condition than the ones in the campground. The dump station was the worst we had ever seen with poop on the ground. The brochure said if we went to a presentation regarding membership we could get a discount on our stay. We went to the office and nobody was there and that was at 11:15 am during business hours per their sign. We went because family was staying there and was interested in Thousand trails as we will be traveling a lot next year. After this experience we decided no we would go with an organization that we had much better experience with.

I enjoyed staying here! The staff was all friendly and the sites were spacious and far enough apart from your neighbors to not feel clustered which I love. Sure, there isn’t a sewer hookup but honestly the sites made up for that and they have on site dump stations that were conveniently located. I also love that they have a float company on site where you can book a day on the river and I strongly recommend doing that if you stay in the summer months! I will absolutely be back!

We liked this TT campground for it's rustic setting, large, level sites with lots of trees/ shrubs for privacy. Quite a bit of downwd limbs & branches needing to cleared but otherwise all sites looked great. Bathrooms were clean with hot shower and good water pressure. Roads are all gravel but well graded. What we didn't like: No sewer hookups anywhere in the park, laundry room was expensive - $3.25 each for washer & dryers but no hot water at all, COLD WATER wash only for $3 25! Absolutely no other amenities open this time of year... clubhouse, store, pool, hot tub, mini golf, pickleball - all closed for the season. Really? They can't even open the clubhouse? Naturally several loops are closed for the season. Lack of sewer in sites was not a problem for us since we were only staying a week. Much longer than that and you'd need to pullout to dump at their dump station or pay a service to be pumped out. All in all a clean, quiet spot to camp close to Sunriver, Bend, skiing and tons of other outdoor activities. However, if I were paying retail, I'd probably camp down the road at LaPine State Park for 1/2 the price.

Stayed over at this park for a week on my way from WA to CO. The people are nice, the area is nice, and my stay has been great. Pros: - Good location near Sunriver. - 50/30/20 amp all present at my site. Water at site. - Good VZW signal. - Quiet property, managers mind their own business. - Dump site present on property. - Grocery store w/in 10 minute drive. Cons: - No dumps at sites. - Many sites have poor shade. - Property isn't very pretty. Some sparse trees or field parking.

Thousand trails member... I only stayed at this campground a week on a trip up the West coast, but as a TT park it rates as a solid good but not great. Pros: Verizon signal is amazing, AT&T signal is good. The park is beautiful, full of bunnies and lots of space! Cons: No sewer hookups (at any site). The public bathrooms are sketchy - making the lack of sewer hookups an even bigger con. Overall, I'd be willing to stay here again but it's certainly not my first choice.

We weren't told at checkin for the need to boil our water due to a bacterial contamination in their water system. There was no sign posted at the office. We happened to see a notice in the laundry room. When we asked they gave us a handout. We had to stay one night. Fortunately we had enough water in our tanks.
