What a cute little camp ground! Friendly owners, we started our day with a nice shower and home cooked breakfast all made from scratch. We had 2 lots which was big enough for 2 tests, 4 adults and 4 med size dogs. Great and relaxing area. Just a short drive away from the main area of Frankfort.

Really loved this quiet campground. We were tent camping and stayed in spot #12. Loved that it backed up to the woods. Clean bathroom and showers. They have honor system set up for ice and firewood for afterhours so this should tell you something about the place. It's right next to a wonderful bike path. Would stay here again while traveling.

Only stayed one night to ride the Betsie Valley Bike Trail but it was clean, quiet and comfortable.  Good price too.  I rented one of the small cabins so it's like camping without any hassle and I got to sleep in a real bed.  I only had to bring a sleeping bag and stuff for smores.  They have firewood available right at the campground as well.  Had a great breakfast at the Tiny Cafe.  Highly recommend.

My stay was short but very pleasant! The campground seems to be a popular spot for fishers. It's well shaded, with clean bathrooms, a dump station, and firewood and ice for sale. The hosts even have a little cafe that's open in the morning where they do coffee and breakfast. There's a trail right by the entrance that makes it super easy to hop on for running, biking, or walking. It's 3 miles (or so) from the cute town of Frankfort which has lovely shops and a nice clean beach. Have already recommended this place to my parents 😀.

Amazing little campground. Love the fact the speed limit is 5mph and there are large speed bumps to help enforce this, as well as all the extra signage. Made us feel comfortable enough to allow the kids to ride their bikes and play at the nice playground.

Our week long stay was perfect. Super quiet, no loud parties and yelling. I think the owners run a tight ship and we were grateful for that.

Very affordable and lots of amenities, including a dump station, fish cleaning house, a cafe, nice camp store and WiFi. Bathrooms and shower house were pretty clean and taken care of. We have no complaints with our stay.

Amazing campground, I would give it 100 stars! New shower and toliets, amazing gift store, and they make breakfast, I had french toast with bluberry cheesecke filling. Mmmmmm, the sites are large. Very close drive to the Dunes. They do fill up fast, We came a week before the season closed and got a spot. However, they do book put a year in advance. The cabins were gorgeous. Highly Recommend this campsite if you're going near The Dunes.

A very nice campground! We stayed for two nights on our RV trip along the coastline. The campground is rustic with RVs, tents, and cabins. Nice play ground, places to go for a walk, and places to walk our dog. The whole campground is clean, pretty (in a nature way) and friendly.

Great campsite with a decent little store and awesome, convenient breakfast.   Clean bathrooms and showers, and firewood sold on the honor system, so easy to get any time of day or night.
The cabins are small, but fine for a couple or a small family. It's really nice that they have a heater to put on to take the chill out of the air.
If two couples are going the price is not  inhibitive to just get two cabins 🙂

The only less awesome thing I can think of is that there isn't anything within walking distance from the campsite. You pretty much need a car to get anywhere. Someone told me the bike path out by the road can get you into Frankfurt, so I'll probably check out that path next time.

My family of three had a great time for two nights. Next time we'll probably stay for three and bring our bicycles.

Without a doubt, my favorite Campground so far! So clean, very kid friendly and nice sized camp sites. We stay in a cute cabin, which had nice newer vinyl floors, a queen bed and even a refrigerator! Not exactly ruffing it 😂 They also have tent sites, "glampers" (super cute) and tents with built in beds ready to go. Beyond the sites, the staff was awesome, there was a convenience store and even a Cafe! Bathrooms were clean and showers were nice (I've seen some scary ones) Less than 5 minutes from Frankfort. We will be back next year!

Stayed here in our camper for 10 days in July , 2024.   Great atmosphere, good mix of long term/short term guests, fun vibe. Excellent location right on the bike trail, short ride to Frankfort.  Family owned and operated which is evident by the condition of the grounds, care, and attention to detail.  Really cool café for breakfast and lots of great items for sale in the camp store.  Bathrooms were clean and well kept, never had to wait for a shower.   Great experience overall!

100 sites plus a few small cabins- Very clean, including bathhouse. No charge for showers which were roomy. Butted up to State land, got to watch training of bird dogs in the field, right from the TT. Great general store/office and restaurant, nice ppl running all. Bike, kayak rentals avail. Kiddie bikes for fun. swingset area. Blacktop all the way to the driveway and there were some big rigs with slides there. Plenty of room for all. We went to do some salmon fishing, but, with the temps still in the high 70's they just weren't running. Lighthouses, vineyards, fruit/veggie stands, Lake Michigan, so much to do.
