We stayed 3 nights at Big Pine Key RV Park and had a great time. Beautiful surroundings, clean restrooms and shower houses, you can bring your boat, fish, and they have entertainment several evenings and events. Nice gas fire pit on the waters edge for everyone to enjoy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back.

The location is great. The people are friendly. The store, pool, and facilities are wonderful. The store had a nice selection of goods at reasonable prices. I like the boat dockage they have (I didn't bring my boat this trip, but the protected dockage looks great). I have two concerns... 1) There is a walkway over the entrance gate that is 13' 2" of clearance. Not sure who's idea that was, but not good for any modern, full size RV, so you have to go "in through the out door", which is also precarious. Secondly, this place is sooooo dirty. There are no roads or pads. If they would add blacktop roads throughout the park and a concrete or paver pad at each site, that would make a world of difference. I was there during a rainy week, and it was awful. The "roads" are just pot holes and small lakes. You can't walk a straight line - you have too bob and weave around the ankle deep puddles. A blacktop road and a pad at each site, that sits a couple inches above the standing water would be a game changer. If they make some improvements, I'd go back. If not, I'd suggest a campground that has roads and a pad at each site - and they do exist, not far from this place. Photos of the "roads" are attached.

Big Pine RV Park: More Than a Stopover, It's a Sanctuary Rating: A True 5-Star Retreat There are RV parks, and then there are places that genuinely feel like a reset button for the soul. Big Pine RV Park falls firmly in the latter category. From the moment we pulled under the canopy of their namesake pines, we didn't just feel like campers—we felt like we had arrived at a quiet sanctuary. What makes Big Pine truly special is its palpable sense of peace. The sites are generously spaced and shaded by towering evergreens, providing a natural buffer from the noise of the world and offering a genuine sense of privacy. The air is crisp, the nights are silent, and the connection to the surrounding nature is immediate and profound. This is the ideal place to simply be, to watch the stars, and to let the stress of the road melt away. Beyond the beautiful setting, the heart of this park is its hospitality. The owners and staff clearly operate from a place of genuine care. Every interaction was warm, every facility was immaculately maintained, and their recommendations for local hikes and exploration felt personal and authentic. This isn't just a business; it's a community they tend with pride. The attention to detail—from the clean laundry room to the well-raked sites—speaks volumes about their commitment to their guests' comfort. Big Pine is not just a convenient place to hook up; it’s a destination for rejuvenation. If you are seeking a quiet, clean, and profoundly welcoming spot where you can truly recharge, look no further.

We stayed in the tiny home on the water! It was super cute with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The beds were all cozy memory foam. Big Pine RV park is super family friendly and laid back. The workers are all so nice and welcoming. We especially appreciated the dye free syrup for the snow cones!! The weekend was chocked full of super fun events! Bouy painting, live fire side music with smores, pool side live music with a bar, a community shoreline clean up! We can't wait to go back! A campground with fun planned events is the best weekend get away!

We loved our stay here! The ocean view we had was very pretty and peaceful. We enjoyed the benches and fire pit near the water. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. Great location in the keys. We would stay here again!

This was our second time staying at Big Pine Key RV and we loved it yet again. It's a really well maintained campground. Our daughter loved the pool. The family restrooms are a life saver with a small kid! Loved seeing the key deer and being so close to the water. It was a great hub for all of the exploring and paddle boarding we did. Already planning a return trip. If we didn't live states away in the Carolinas, we would come more often! Highly recommend.

do not reserve a tent site here unless you’re okay becoming one with the sand. the wind is intense, the sand is EVERYWHERE inside of your tent, no matter what you do. we paid $90 for a tent site for 1 night and didn’t stay more than one hour because it was so bad. we are frequent campers, so it wasn’t that we didn’t like it. it was inhabitable. the email states you can check in until 10pm. we got on site at 7:02, 2 minute after the store closed. we were told that we were late. our key wasn’t set in the box for pick up and we waited a long time to get into the gate. it wasn’t a good experience. when they describe the site as ocean side, they aren’t exaggerating, so that’s a plus. just bring a hard sided camper or stay in one of their accommodations.

If you want to ruin your vacation, I recommend this place. With the exception of James, his staff is very unpleasant, especially his general manager Savannah and her lapdog, whose name I don't know. I booked this place for my kids to enjoy a few days of their spring break. I paid for it in full, and it wasn't cheap at all considering the type of resort it is. My children wanted to take their two small dogs and we called ahead to inform ourselves. In short, I don't want to make this story too long because I want you to read it and know what kind of people these are!! I arrived after 7:00 pm and by 8:00 pm they were already calling me saying my dogs were barking and bothering the others, quiet time was at 10:00 pm. We told them my husband was taking the dogs back to home and their manager and their lady dog told me we had to leave because we had violated their policy and that I wouldn't get my money back. After driving 2 hours to get there with my two children and a small baby, I had to pack up everything and drive two more hours back. I got home almost at 1:00 am, driving almost asleep from exhaustion, if something had happened to me these people would have been the ones to blame. I want to report that this was an act of racism against Latinos. Don't go to this place; as I told you, it's overrated and its staff is racist.

Well, we booked two sights 9 months in advance. Next to each other as we were traveling with friends. We told the person on the phone that we needed 50 amp hookup. Said this over and over. We showed up and our sites were on 30 Amp. THE campground is tight, super tight. No room to put out our awnings, trees in the way and scratching the sides of our rigs. When you're pulling 30 and 38 feet rigs you need space to make wide turns. Plus... there are height restrictions to enter or you'll rip off the A/C units and solar. Kids riding bikes and ele tric skate boards with no regards for safety. I'll never be back here. Only good thing was the view after dropping $1500 for a cramped, tiny and overpriced stay. Next time Sugarloaf or Boyds.

Great place to park an RV or rent one they have. Place was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Plus the have a boat ramp and slips to dock your boat while your there. If I had any complaint it would be the camper we rented needed to be properly blocked every time some one moves even a little the whole camper shook like crazy. Everything else was good.

I booked a reservation online and immediately had questions about the site that I reserved. I telephoned the office and no one answered the phone so I left a message. I continued to call since I was on the road and not in the area to drop in. The picture on the website showed a picnic table and ocean front water site and I wanted to know that was what I had reserved. After leaving 3 voicemail messages and sending an email over a period of two days, I gave up. Finally, the morning of my reservation they left a voicemail message for me. Since I was in the vicinity of Big Pine Key Resorts, I drove in to speak to them in person. They said they were short staff and could not respond to any voicemails or emails. I expressed my frustration. In the end, the picture was not what I reserved. Instead, I was on an inlet along the boat dock. The picture appears to be a stock picture for all the sites. The bathrooms had only one shower with hot water. The bathrooms were clean. The resort was quiet and relaxing. Just wished they answered phone calls and emails.

BPKFL is just as good as ever! We just concluded our 6 week stay and only wish we could stay longer! Any problems that we had were addressed and solved immediately. The new staff is working very hard -and many long hours- to insure positive results for those of us who visit. It is still a unique blend of vacationers enjoying one of the BEST locations in the Keys. Yes, the prices went way up but it is still reasonable for that location and still cheaper than other camps nearby. Many improvements so far and more to come. Andy is our favorite go-to guy, but all maintenance crew is capable and hard working. We will save our money and wait for our turn to book for next year. The thought of NOT going to BPKFL leaves me feeling hollow. We gotta get our "fix" of this terrific campground! Jim McConnell Lynn Nielsen Until we meet again....♥️

The people here were so very nice and helpful. We did not stay at the resort, but they did help us find where we were going. Locals are sweet and offered advice and help! Thank goodness for them or we would have never found where we were going.

This is an excellent choice for lodging. Employee Andy was helpful, friendly, and sincere. His sweet pup, Pebbles, gave me just the dog fix I needed. Bob, our resident tent neighbor, was a good friend during our stay. The resort is clean, safe, and is located in one of my favorite places in the world - Big Pine Key. The resort is close to everything, is affordable, and is never boring. Highly recommended.

Wow, the Florida Keys are amazing! Great resort, very friendly staff, clean facilities, boating ramp/area are wonderful. They have fun activities to do like a games room, pool, bonfire on the beach. The sites are clean and a nice size and they even have an air filling station for your tires. They are close to groceries, etc and have some groceries in their store too, including fishing bait. I highly recommend staying at this resort!
