The campground is small but very nice and well kept. Some of the sites aren't very long. The bathroom/shower house was clean. The window in the family shower is surprisingly clear and visible from the upper loop. We had to block the window with a tote lid. Each site has a food storage box. We did see a bear along the campground road. We would stay here again.

The campground is just inside Big South Fork NRR with multiple easily accessible trails. Be aware that most of the sites are around 30 feet long, but they're plenty wide enough for all your gear/equipment. There is a bathhouse that's clean and decently maintained. We had site 8 which backed up to a small pond. It's a beautiful, no frills, but very clean campground.

Campground was great for RV and large travel trailers. There are stes with 30 and 50 amp service and sites for up to about 50 feet. The 50 amp service are sites 30 through 40. There no sewer hookups, just a dump station. The camp is remote about 15 minutes from Stearns which has grocery store, auto parts and convenience stores. There is no firewood for sale, so bring it with or scavenge for wood. There are bears in and around the campground. The place is very beautiful ND peaceful.

Great campground, well laid out and clean. Bathrooms were well maintained and the campsites were clean and well set up. My only negative(for us) was no trails leading directly from the campground. Or at least none we found. Will definitely go back. Great for camping with kiddos!

Overall it is a nice campground with a pretty good price since it has free showers and hookups at every site. Tent pad was very roomy. There was not a camp host when we were there, which wasn't great. The frogs are very loud, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper in a tent. There is a lot of poison ivy in the woods around the sites, but it is cleared back some.

Great campground! Some of the spots look a bit tight for bigger campers but it's a very quiet nice place to stay! Site 31 will fit a 33 tt. Site 32 has a big tree that will keep you from going far enough back. 34 and 35 look to be the prime sites.

Great campground! It was clean, quiet, and peaceful. We were there when there wasn’t a lot of people camping. It was close to trails and historical attractions. Plan on going back soon.

Awesome state campsite! Great showers. Close to a bunch of destinations. Highly recommended for tents and smaller travel trailer. Very clean and well taken care of.

Robert and Jenny were amazing camp host. They were very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival Robert came around and introduced himself and let us know if we needed anything let him or Jenny know. Campground was very clean. Will definitely be back and hope Robert and Jenny are the host when we return.

Lovely NPS campground on the Kentucky side of Big South Fork NRRA. It was pleasantly quiet and restrooms & showers were clean. Campground was well-maintained and the hosts were very friendly. Sites are somewhat short, which limits access for large fifth-wheels and some sites are far from level.

4 stars purely on the fall color beauty I saw. Sites are small and some are too close together. Bathroom/shower house need major updating. But otherwise very pleasant.

Playground for the kids with Electric and water hookups. Not much else though. Bring wheel chocks as most sites have a pretty good slope to them.

Smaller campground, large sites, with power and water. Convenient dump station, bathhouse could use some cleaning, used our shower in camper due to mold and condition of bathhouse showers. Still will come back, location to hiking trails is very close.

Good place for base camp while exploring area. Some sites are very close and some are definitely tent only. Maybe 4-5 for big rigs. There is wifi at the bath house, but non-existent a few feet away. Bath house is an older building, but clean. Park personnel are serious about leaving coolers/food unattended. They will confiscate! Six sites were closed due to bear activity.
