We chose this location because it was half way to our final destination. We only stayed one night passing through. It was a great decision on our part. Will definitely be back. Very convenient to I-65, full hook ups, nice pads and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Stopped for an overnight on our way to Florida. Our site (#51) was paved, level, and spacious. The park was clean and quiet. There are several permanent trailers there, but plenty of room for short term stays which are located closer to the office. Staff was friendly and accommodating! Price was 1/2 of what our previous night's stay had been near Nashville. Would stay again! We were in our 45' motorhome towing a jeep. Easy on/off and close to interstate.

I found this Campground because all of my normal campgrounds were either overbooked or closed. I was not sure what to expect, but upon arriving, I immediately felt comfortable and safe. The staff were nice and easy to talk to. The check-in/check-out process was very easy, and my site was exactly as described. The facilities are top notch and clean. I could go on and on about the things I love here, but then this campground would get too booked for me to go back (wink):-). I highly recommend!

What a beautiful place! Such a surprise to find this gem when we took a wrong exit after hours of traveling. So well maintained shaded spots, full hook ups, cute cabins, large shaded spaces with level paved pads, playground for kids, escorts to your site, the staff is so amazing. The Halloween decorations around the property were super cute. The dog skeleton in the front was the best 😂 We only stopped to use a few of the services they offer but this will be our new place when we are in the area. Charming!!

nicest showers i’ve seen at any rv park, and we’ve stayed at 18 different ones this trip. super clean & better water pressure than the shower i have back home even. tip: use the last shower if it’s available. double shower heads with amazing water pressure 😍

It was so very wonderful to enter an RV park with a staffed office, with escort to site, a heated swimming pool and a picnic table. My husband, many years retired now, owned 2 different RV parks from 1995 through 2013. We always tried to offer Outdoor Hospitality Excellence to our guests and go the extra few steps to be of assistance. One seldom sees that nowadays. We have stayed in 9 different parks in the past 2 and 1/2 weeks and only 5 had actual people to interact with, including one state park. It seems that reserving, paying and registering on line are the rage. Absolutely poor customer relations. Thank you Birmingham South RV Park for treating us and our business with you as valuable. We stayed in the smaller one bedroom cabin. It’s small, but was nice and clean. The one thing I wish it would have had was a closer bathroom other than the bathhouse for cabin tenants to use, although it wasn’t a far walk. They were clear that the cabin was a “bed in a box”, but I did not consider the lack of a bathroom. Still great service and a great value.

We arrived at the lovely Birmingham RV Park and were pleased with the welcoming service the friendly staff provided us. We were escorted to our site and as an added bonus, he helped line up the position of our trailer. The park is clean, well maintained and provides nice space between campers. It was a moderate sized and quiet park that did not feel over crowded. Most of all we felt very safe and enjoyed our stay.

Stayed one night on our way to Florida. Great service from the start, golf cart escort to our pull through site. Very nice park, well lit up, felt very safe walking pups at night. Have already recommended to fellow campers. Plan to stay again on our way home.

Very easy park to get to. Very nice sites. A little unlevel in the front of the RV and the site was just long enough for our 34' towing a car dolly with a Kia soul. All hookups were good. We had the best water pressure of any campgrounds were stayed at. Enjoy that. It was just an overnight so we didn't get your check things out. I do remember the train but only heard it once during the night.

We stayed at Birmingham South RV Park for 4 nights and this is our 177th stop. The online registration is a common one and easy to use. The check in staff were very friendly and the process was very quick. The park itself is an older campground with nice mature shade trees, an updated office/store and only a half hour from downtown. The laundry room was decent, there was half a dozen newer drive through concrete pads, some of the cabins look recently updated and the pool area is nice. Split between longer term residents and other sites and they were kept up decently. If you are a light sleeper, you might need some white noise as nearby trains blow their horns through the night. The site utilities for our site were frustrating with the water connection just a few inches from the ground so our filter was actually laying on the ground. The sewer connection for the site was much further back so the entire electric and hose lines had to come out and barely connected. And for the electricity, this was the most concerning as the 50 amp was rigged at the base of the electric post causing the surge protector to lay on the ground facing upwards (some other sites have a similar set up). Had to cover with a bucket to keep the rain from running directly into the connection. Also had maintenance stop by about a low voltage issue. The site pad itself had newer concrete in the front but the majority of it was small crushed gravel and the driver’s side had a railroad tie wall which was not helpful for the sewer hook up. Connectivity (4:30 pm): T-Mobile 1,115 down/92 up; Verizon 751 down/31.1 up; park WiFi weak at best and unstable for basic web and mail; 24 cable stations and 8 over the air. Overall, would rate a 3.7 but would have been a little higher if not for the utilities frustration.

We love this place it is pretty close to the RTJ golf courses, conveniently right off the interstate. The owners are very accommodating, polite, etc. showers are clean; the whole place is clean. This was our second year stopping here and I am sure we will do it again.
