Spent the weekend at Black prong and it did NOT disappoint! Michelle greeted us at check in to make sure we understood the grounds. Her check in process is well organized with pictures and maps explaining where things are and how to operate your golf cart. (which is included with your stay) She even took us to our cabin to make sure we could get all settled in. Our favorite part was that she had put us in the cabin next to the horses. My daughter got to spend a lot of time loving on them and giving them "hairstyles". She told me it was her best birthday ever! We wanted for nothing, everything we needed or asked for black prong provided. Even the Peloton in the gym was a nice surprise. The grounds are definitely an elevated upscale experience without the price tag! If you're looking for a peaceful and fun, clean and beautiful place to stay that happens to have horses and trails Black Prong is the place for you! We can't wait to come back, Thanks to the Black Prong team for making our stay so special and memorable.

Absolutely BUCKET LIST destination!!! We stayed in one of the tiny houses and it was better than any luxury hotel room… so many little details that bring comfort, easy accessibility and makes you really feel pampered. The owner and team have thought of EVERYTHING and it was one of the best places we've stayed at in years!

My husband and I had an amazing weekend at Black Prong Resort! We couldn’t believe we were less than two hours from the hustle and bustle of Tampa. The staff was amazing, with special mention of Cliff, who gave us a wonderful tour of the Property and helped us with our electric bikes, as well as Brittany, who provided excellent service at the restaurant. We were truly amazed by the luxury and well thought out manner that the tiny homes concept was executed. Our tiny home was perfect for two. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and it was very relaxing to sit by the pool, which was extremely clean as well. We played pickle ball, rode electric bikes, had dinner both nights at the wonderful restaurant on site, and enjoyed having our own golf cart to explore the property. We did not have to leave the grounds for anything, so it was truly relaxing. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful ways that they are developing this property, and we will for sure come back with our children to enjoy it often. It was a very peaceful weekend with beautiful weather and fond memories being made. Cannot wait to see the future of Black Prong as it gets better and better. Highly recommend visiting Rainbow Springs nearby before heading home! 10/10

First off a very beautiful property and equestrian facilities. We brought our RV for a 6 day stay. Our site was beautiful but a little awkward to get into. As others mentioned a golf cart was provided with site. We visited the restaurant on several occasions. Dinner was delicious with elevated dishes. Drinks at the bar were well prepared and service was excellent. The website is very accurate and every aspect of this beautiful property has been done very well. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and made sure our stay was great. Will be back when in the area.

Highly recommend this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Believe the property is almost 90 acres and is very well kept. This is an equestrian based property, so you can actually bring your own horses and they rent cottages with stalls attached! (They also have ones without) They also offer trail rides through the forest adjacent to Black Prong. We towed our RV there and stayed on a concrete pad, which came with a golf cart right on the site to navigate the large property. The pool, hot tub, gym was all extremely clean. Online ordering for food pickup as well as a restaurant on site. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely come back and a great spot for kids as well!

The advertised web sight is not what you get. According to the web sight, the RV sites were mostly paved. We were stuck on a grass surface which was so uneven our camp table wouldn’t set level. We paid a lot of money for a nice even sight. I thought most pads were on pavers, not so. The advertisement said horse barns with tack room. We were in a portable plastic barn with flimsy mats and no tack room at all! The worst part was that we were located next to the manure pile which smelled strongly all the time. The administration was completely unaware of any trails, or how to get around. This barn caters mostly to English riders and carts and carriages. I feel this was very expensive for what you get. Not at all what was advertised. The cost to me should have been a $10/night horse stall, and a $30/night RV site. Very disappointed!

Excellent experience. The whole family loved it. We stayed in a brand new cottage. Every single detail was carefully planned for. New top of the line appliances, pristine bathroom, washer and dryer in the unit, new linens and good stock of big fluffy towels, new Weber bbq. All in Mint condition. Lia was the best and helped us with all we needed during our stay. It’s an equestrian farm, everything evolves around horses but you don’t need to have a horse related plan to be there. In fact we went to rainbow and Crystal River. Perfect for just your family or going with a group of friends since there are several cottages along the property. We will come again!

We stayed at Black Prong for a herding clinic. We used the RV hookup facilities and were so thrilled with the beauty of the entire Village and the quality of the amenities. The internet was solid, even in surprisingly remote areas, and the grounds are just breath taking. Definitely adding this to my list of places to camp with the RV and my dogs!

Our family booked for the Labor Day weekend for a wedding and Black Prong gave us more than we could have ever expected. With over 20 of us traveling from all over Florida, we rented all 9 of their cottages for everyone to have their own space while still allowing us all to come together to enjoy the pool and have meals together while we were there. The cottages were impeccable with everything you could think you'd need and even more. The attention to detail is what you would expect of a 5 Star resort. Even all of our pups had a great time. We rented their golf carts to get around to everyone easier and enjoyed the pool several times. There are bikes guests can use on the property however my hubs and I brought our own and we ventured out into Geothe National Forest for a 25 mile ride and had some deer jump out in front of us. The wildlife in the area is amazing. I'm a butterfly enthusiast and I've never seen so many Giant Swallowtails in one area before in the life. Lia in the office was AMAZING!!!! She made sure we all had everything we'd need and went above and beyond to help whenever she was asked for anything. From my first contact to request information for booking until after we'd all checked out and left, Lia made our experience top notch and we can't thank her enough. The whole family has already agreed we will be back in 2022 for another Black Prong family getaway.
