The Black Warrior-Tombigbee Coosa-Tallapoosa River System is a major river system in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is formed by the confluence of the Black Warrior River and the Tombigbee River near Demopolis, Alabama. The Coosa and Tallapoosa rivers join the Black Warrior-Tombigbee near Wetumpka, Alabama, to form the Alabama River. The Coosa-Tallapoosa River System is the second largest river system in Alabama, draining an area of approximately 11,000 square miles (28,000 km2). The Coosa-Tallapoosa River System is home to numerous species of fish, birds, and other wildlife. The Coosa-Tallapoosa River System is also home to the Foscue Creek Wildlife Management Area, which is located near Demopolis, Alabama. The Foscue Creek Wildlife Management Area is a popular destination for fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities.

Foscue Creek Park Demopolis, AL: RV Camping Guide

From the helpful friendly host we met at the gate for check in until the helpful friendly host we encountered leaving the park, it was a wonderful experience. We visited Fosque for the first time and camped on Site 21.  The campground was very clean.  We enjoyed the fishing and visiting the surrounding community of Demopolis.  We are sure to return in the future. We loved the full hook up.

This was our first time camping here and we loved it. Park is well maintained, camp hosts are very friendly and we love how spaced out each campsite is. Convenience stores are close by and their downtown shops are great for an afternoon stroll. Absolutely loved it.

This was one of our favorite COE parks. Beautiful, clean, quiet, and the park hosts were awesome. We will definitely return.

Beautiful campground, sites along the river. Quiet, lots of birds! The camp hosts and check in check out folks are very very kind!

This park sets the bar for all Corp of Engineer parks. We’ve never found another park that can hold a candle to the camping experience at Foscue. Bathhouses are always clean, sites are always immaculate, the hosts call to let you know your site is available. What more can you ask?

One of our favorite places. Quiet, big sites some on the river. Great place to walk and ride bikes.

Nice COE with full hook ups. Bathrooms showers clean.   Staff friendly. You do get some noise from barges and trains occasionally going by.  We had site on water front and enjoyed watching the barges. Nice walking and bike trails.  Love 300 check out time .

We camped in the RV Campground. It's a Beautiful, well maintained park with some large full hookup sites on the water. The pads were concrete and ours had a patio. It's our second time staying here. @kampingwithkona

One of the better ACOE campgrounds  of been to. They have full hook ups, for the same price as most others with just electric. Clean, and the host are friendly and accommodating. Got a courteous call let me know my site was ready for occupancy, no other hosts has ever done that. Maintenance crews are always touring the areas. Thumbs up 👍

Great campground on the Warrior river. If you’ve never been you really need to go. But if you have a large camper might want to call ahead and make sure you can fit before you blind book. Our camper is 40 foot and there’s some sites we couldn’t fit in.

Beautiful little Corps of Engineers RV campground along the river. Fantastic shower house, immaculate sites with paved pad and spacious packed stone patio area. Grill, fire ring, picnic table and utility table included.  Nearly all sites have full hook ups. Only a few in a low setting close to the water do not.  Highly recommended.

The only thing I don't agree with is they actually lock the gate from 10pm to 6am. However, almost all sites are level, large, spacious, & water front. Very helpful & friendly staff/hosts. Overall a great experience!

Upon arriving didn’t know what to expect. Friendly, friendly people. Campground clean, spacious lots for the RV. If you love nature, take the trails walking or on bike! I would recommend to family & friends, we will be back🙌🏽
