Close enough to downtown and suburbs of Coeur d'alene and the college to be very convenient, remote enough to feel like real camping. All sites have great grassy areas, level gravel pads, and nice mid-sized trees. Picnic tables but no fire rings at each location. The park is right on the Spokane River and has lovely view sites available. The highway can be seen from the park and in some sites heard with windows open or when a vehicle is particularly loud. We were not bothered by road noise 9 days we stayed and were in a riverfront site nearest both roads. Riverfront sites have a huge grass lawn in front of them followed by a wooded area and path and then the river itself. you can see the river easily through the trees. The park has no pool. There is a boat dock on the river and a gravel beach which includes a dog beach section for your fur kids. The beach is equipped with a dozen or so plastic adirondack chairs making it a nice place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the river flow/water fowl/boats. there's also a huge fenced dog run/off leash area and plenty of walking trail. very clean, well lit laundry room attached to the front office with plenty of machines. playground area for the kids. there is a game room and arcade on site but both of these were locked when we stayed. we were still very early in the season though so i'm thinking there may not have been much call for these things yet as the park wasn't even 1/3 full except over the Memorial Day weekend. shower/bathrooms are individual private affairs and seemed to be clean and well kept (though we didn't use them since we have that convenience in our motorhome). wifi was strong and clear and we were about as far from the office as you could get so i'm betting there are several repeaters or systems in the park. cable hookups are included and we had plenty of channels. however, if you prefer something more, the trees are mid-sized inside the site areas and you should have a clear view for your dish/satellite tv. there is also a small book swap shelf in the tiny office/convenience store Notes: if choosing to stay in a riverfront site, be aware they are all pull in. additionally, i would choose a site numbered in the lower end (119 or lower) to take advantage of the even better views and park. also, these folks are VERY particular about their grass so don't even think about a tire or a mat parked on any of it for even a fraction of a second. we really had no problem with even that as there is plenty of space to park your rig and toad at your site without getting on the grass and because it is so well kept and lush, a mat would truly have been redundant. i instead enjoyed the opportunity to walk around barefoot in it's dense lush softness when outside.
