Blake Ranch RV Park

Overview

Blake Ranch RV Park offers a peaceful retreat for travelers navigating the vast landscapes of Northern Arizona. Unlike the bustling city centers, this park provides a quiet rural atmosphere that serves as a welcome respite from the road. Located at a higher elevation of approximately 3,500 feet, visitors often enjoy more moderate temperatures compared to the lower desert floor. It is well-regarded for its clean facilities and friendly, welcoming environment for both seasonal guests and those just passing through for a single night.

Location & Surroundings

Situated just east of Kingman, the park is conveniently positioned off Interstate 40 at exit 66. The surrounding landscape features the rugged beauty of the high desert, offering sweeping views of the nearby mountain ranges. This location provides the perfect balance of easy highway access without the intrusive noise typically associated with roadside stops. Guests can enjoy wide-open skies and the natural serenity of the Arizona high country, making it a scenic transition point between the Mojave and Sonoran deserts.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed with modern conveniences in mind, featuring spacious pull-thru sites that are ideal for big rigs and long trailers. Each site offers full hookups, including 30 and 50 amp service, Wi-Fi, and cable television. One of the most unique features is the on-site horse motel, which provides secure stalls for travelers moving with livestock. Additionally, the park includes a large, fenced dog park for pet exercise, exceptionally clean private showers, and a well-stocked general store filled with Southwestern gifts.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Explorers will find the park an excellent home base for visiting Historic Route 66 in downtown Kingman, where vintage diners and museums celebrate the Mother Road. For those seeking outdoor adventure, the Hualapai Mountain Park offers hiking trails and cooler pine forests just a short drive away. Further excursions can take travelers to the Grand Canyon West Rim or the quirky mining town of Oatman, where wild burros roam the streets. Its central location makes it easy to experience the highlights of Mohave County.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination is an ideal fit for cross-country travelers looking for a reliable and secure place to rest their wheels. Because of its specialized facilities, it is uniquely suited for equestrian travelers who need safe boarding for their horses. It also appeals to those who prefer a relaxed, low-key vibe over a crowded resort-style atmosphere. Whether you are driving a massive motorhome or a small camper van, the park’s straightforward layout and quiet environment make it a top choice for a stress-free Arizona stopover.

I had customer broke down in their tow rig and towed their fifth wheel here for them to stay while their truck was being repaired.great little camp ground. Very accommodating since i was coming in a semi towing fifth wheel. People were real friendly. Just seemed like a cozy little camp ground.

First couple weeks of our stay we did not have any WiFi for 10 days. After that it was so sketchy it buffered more than worked. We were there for 11 weeks and the last 30 days we did not have water for 4 days due to their water tanks being over 20 yrs old and needing replaced. They told us we had “gravity water” and to fill our tank. Last I checked gravity doesn’t run uphill so no way to fill our tank if we wanted to. Paid our rent the last month 2 days late as my acct had been hacked which was told to them and the office was fine with. Once I had access I wrote them a check but also deducted $100 for the lack of water for 4 days. Check was cashed then they tried to tell us we had to leave and the rent was non refundable. Horrible place! Claim to have laundry facilities which over half the washers and dryers work. And careful because employees tell all campers what’s going on with u.

We stayed one night on December 31, 2025, at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in Kingman while passing through the area. We arrived late and the office was already closed, but check-in was handled well. They had left clear information on the board along with a map showing exactly where we were to park for the night, which made the process easy even after dark. I was towing a Jeep behind a 32-foot Class C RV, and our spot was at the end of the row, making it simple to pull in and get situated without having to maneuver tightly. The site was gravel and had full hookups, including water, sewer, and 50-amp power, all of which worked as expected. Because it was rainy and late, we stayed inside the RV and didn’t explore the park. I half expected it to be noisy since it was New Year’s Eve, but it was actually very quiet. I was asleep by around 10 PM and wasn’t woken up by any noise during the night, which was a pleasant surprise. Since we had to leave early the next morning, we didn’t get a chance to see much of the RV park itself, but it worked well for what we needed. This is a good option for travelers looking for a straightforward, quiet overnight stop with full hookups and easy access, especially if you’re arriving late or passing through Kingman for the night.

Been here a week so far and WiFi is sketch! We have had it off and on for a couple days of the week we have been here. If u want quiet and peaceful it’s good but if u require WiFi don’t bother. Laundry is ok nothing to brag about. Half the washers and dryers r out of order.

We pulled in for an overnight while on the road, Easy pull in site for our larger Travel trailer, spacious spots, nice dog area. Has a small area with some snacks and drinks in the office. I would definitely stay here again.
