Great location to stay at for off roading.
Full hook ups, large spaces, friendly staff, hot showers and clean restrooms. There is also a kids track in the back of the park which is perfect for kids and beginner riders.

The second time we've stayed here.  Perfect location for desert fun!  The Cell Phone tower is an easy home base visual when your out in the desert blasting around!  The team here is super nice and accommodating.  RV spots are large!  The feeling is definitely family fun.  Highly recommend.

Loved staying here. The park is clean and well kept. It was nice having full hookups, bathrooms, showers, laundry and a  jacuzzi to soak in after a long day of riding. We will definitely be back.

If your looking for some off road fun this is the place! My kids loved it. They really enjoyed the dirtbike track. Ocotillo definitely made a lifelong mark. Met some really cool folks too including the lady at rentals. She was really helpful. And Zachary the grounds man was very friendly. You can tell they enjoy their work and take pride. Can't wait to come back!

Ocotillo Wells RV Resort – My Experience

I’ve been going out to the desert for over 25 years, and I’m the type of person who never thought I’d pay to stay anywhere out there. But if you’re looking for a nice, quiet resort instead of the usual dusty, high-traffic, noisy spots you get on a busy weekend, this place is absolutely worth it.

They’ve got all the amenities you could need. The RV spots are large, with plenty of room for big rigs, trucks, and trailers. They also have Casitas you can stay in—which I did—and they come with everything you might need if you show up empty-handed. They’re reasonably priced too.

Laura in the office does an amazing job running the place. My stay was a last-minute plan so I could meet up with family, and she put me on a list. As soon as a Saturday night opened up, she called me right away. The Casitas are small but plenty big for two and a half people—or one person who’s 6'3" like me. It was perfect. Honestly, it was so nice and cozy that even I have to say it was cute—and that’s not something I usually say. Can’t wait to stay again!

Big thanks as well to housekeeping for getting my place ready even though it wasn’t originally on their schedule. The previous guests left early, and they still made it happen.

They also offer both indoor and outdoor storage on the property, which is a great idea. You can leave your toys out there and save money, fuel, and time.

Thank you again, Ocotillo Wells RV Resort! I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Stayed here for the 1st time over Veteran's Day weekend 2025 with our family of four. We were extremely impressed! The resort was very clean, hookups all in good order, and the entire resort was well maintained. I brought my class A RV towing a 26' trailer with 2 UTVs and we fit in our pull through spot no problem. Plenty of room for parking, fire pit, space to lounge, and we even drove our RC cars around. The location was awesome and central for driving out in your buggy and go riding for the day. The staff called and confirmed everything with me after I booked online and followed up after we left to ensure everything was OK. They really care and it shows. The only thing I will mention is the local store and surrounds lack any real amenities (groceries, supplies, etc.) so bring everything you need with you. We will definitely become regulars here!

For someone who has the toys without a toy hauler you honestly can’t go wrong. The trailer was well kept and clean with the AC running upon arrival. I couldn’t ask for a better stay and will be Back multiple times the rest of this season. Also, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the showers and rest of the facilities on the property were well maintained. You can tell the difference when someone who runs the place cares about the sport and or camping, etc.. would highly recommend

Epic service!!!
We went out the weekend of Oct 25, 2025 and had a great time. The weather was hot, but we still had fun.

We called about 30 days before to make the reservation, and they were super nice on the phone. They made sure my friend and I got spots next to each other, and what I liked was they didn’t stick us right next to a big group — they actually spread people out.

Check-in was easy, they gave us a map so finding our spot was no problem. The sites didn’t feel cramped, and the pull-through made it easy to park our toy hauler. The spot was big enough for all our stuff, my truck, and our RZR, with extra room to spare.

We had a little issue with the power when we got there, but as soon as we called, someone showed up in about five minutes. They were cool about it, fixed it fast, and were really nice.

My RZR broke down during the trip, and the maintenance guy kept checking in on us. He even offered to lend me his tools, which honestly saved the trip.

The only thing that was kinda “meh” was the pool — it had bugs on top, but that’s pretty normal for that time of year. The water was still clear, so you could tell they keep up with it.

We’ll be going back for sure. This was an off weekend before Halloween, so not too busy, but I’d go again anytime.

Also, it’s super close to OHV area — just cross the highway and you’re there.

An amazing first experience, even with the wicked wind!  This was our first time at the resort, and it was so clean.  The staff was awesome, the hookups perfect, the grounds are exceptionally kept, and the showers/bathrooms are pristine.  Staff were up early in the morning, trying to clean up the grounds after severe wind storms!  And they did it with a smile on their face!  Our only suggestion is more lounge chairs at the pools.  There are red ants (typical desert)on the concrete, so hard to lie on the concrete if you need to, so more lounge chairs would be fantastic! Other than that, being able to cruise around, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, adult-friendly... a great place to stay when everyone in your family doesn't ride.  The pool and hook-ups are a win!  We will be back!

Stayed there 2 nights. The staff was friendly and the amenities were nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again. I stayed at one of the Casitas, súper nice to rent a casita for a couple nights. Nice pool too!

Great place to stay while having fun in the desert. Easy access to desert riding and overall pretty great place to stay.

This resort is so clean and well kept.  I love the staff because they are very helpful and accommodating.  For us, this is the only place to stay in Ocotillo!

Great service and this is the perfect spot to hookup your rv and ride your toys. Family oriented place to bring friends and family.

This RV Resort is very clean, well maintained. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Park is well maintained, very clean, and sites are level. All of the sites are roomy. Electric boxes are nice and clean. Sewer hook ups are clean and covered nicely. We did not get sewer gas in our RV while hooked up.  Even though the place is off road friendly,  it is quiet, and campers seem to be respectful park rules. We will definitely return. Wish I had better pictures.
