What a great experience! When I arrived, I was led to my campsite by Mark. He made sure I had everything I needed before leaving my site. My pull-thru site had new gravel and a lighted power pole. The water pressure at the site was great. No fire pit available for my site at the time of my visit, but they are ordered. The new camground owners hosted a free BBQ for the campers on the night I arrived. The food was great and the scenery while eating my burger with sweet tea was spectacular. I highly recommend this camground.

We had a great time. The grounds were very well-kept. The riverfront cabin offered a perfect weekend getaway for myself, my husband, and two teenage boys. Mike was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to anything. I would definitely recommend Blue Heron if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing, and peaceful getaway right on the river!
