This beautiful park is very small but enjoyable. There are two swimming pools that are from the natural springs. The campground is beautiful and very clean. The river that the spring empties into is beautiful also. The family can also play in the creek. There is a two mile trail you can hike but it has some steep hills if you have walking issues. The people working there are very nice and helpful. Overall this is a small park but lovely.

Maybe it's different in the summer, but this park should be rated a 2 star but people who go to state parks usually don't like to say anything bad. So I'll say it for them: I'm here in mid December and the park seems abandoned. On the drive in I was just hoping I didnt break down or get a flat, it is as deep south rural as you can get, and us city folks don't like that. As a white man, I felt on guard the entire time I was here, like someone was going to appear from the bushes talkin bout "skews me sir, you got a cigarette?"

Beautiful, refreshing, and not overpopulated! Camping was nice as well with a waterfront lot

This has been the best experience. Clean and not overcrowded. Small fee per person was absolutely worth it. They do accept cash or card.

The water was wonderful. But the bathrooms at the water left a lot of room for improvement. But otherwise love it and we've had a great 2 days.

Love camping here. They have walking trails, quiet clean camp sites. Nice paved roads. And of course the spring to swim in. They are cold but beautiful. We will be going back to try out the fishing.
