Had an amazing camping weekend! The goose poop on the beach was a bit much. My daughter found a bracelet on by the beach. Attached is a picture.

Toe Kid

Me and my family's go to place for daytrips and camping. Lots of campsites available, though ones by the water are mostly first come first served. The beach and lake are one of the cleanest in the area and the beaches are nice, Liebers point is our favorite. Lots of space for boats and jetskis to launch and go on the water. Trees and nature are beautiful and there are 1 or 2 walking trails but this park is best for swimming, camping and picnicking.

Great lake to go fishing or grab a bite to eat. They also have a marina and bait shop. It's a pretty busy place tho and if you use U.S.Cellular for your cell provider then I can assure you that you'll not have any cell service out here. But other than that it's a cool place to visit.

Branched Oak Campgrounds are very green and shaded. We camped in Area 4! Our spot has water nearby and electricity. The campsites are spacious, with a lot of grassy areas out back. I hate camping in those 8 foot slot style RV parks! The only complaint that I could give is that the restroom/shower water stinks like sulfur in the pipes when you turn the water on. Thank goodness the water coming in from the campsite spigots did NOT smell! The park is well maintained and safe.

With my granddaughter, all in one day we enjoy the Marina for a paddle boat ride. And ice cream. We also enjoy playing in the activity center. And having pizza for lunch. There's also a hands-on nature center. Air conditioning with clean restrooms. We ended the day with a trail ride. The staff was very friendly and the horses were well-trained. I highly recommend it.

Great place for the family. Lots of activities. Like most parks here, you need a state permit to enter, but it can get very busy.

The restroom need maintenance, some of the showers don’t work as they supposed to, you need to hold the chain down in order for the water to flow, and the need to spray for mosquitoes 🦟 and spiders. Other Thant that this place is very nice to camp with your family. The area is to big so when you reserve your space make sure what area you are heading, other ways you’ll end up spending more time lost. Other thing is the grills, they are very old, I recommend you bring your own grill. Bring your own firewood 🪵.

I've been going here since I was maybe 23 years old and even though it could use renovation and is kinda low on water it's still the best lake in eastern Nebraska for boating fishing maybe not so much camping though because over taxed by demand need more large recreational areas like this in eastern Nebraska! I've caught 2 master angler fish here over the years and is the only lake around here that I can actually open up the boat and let the horses go other lakes around here are 5mph no wake lakes!
