It’s beautiful no matter what time of you go, but sun up and sun down are hands down the most beautiful!

Beach and grounds were well taken care of and clean. Water was great and we had a lovely evening at Mounds beach ❤️

The beach was clean, calming and a nice place to enjoy. I'm surprised the beach wasn't busier but made for a great visit. However, the bathrooms and shower house need upgraded badly. The showers were awful and didn't spray well at all and it looked like they're not been properly cleaned in weeks if not months. I also wish there were more spots to have a picnic. When we were there a large family seemed to be having a party and had moved every table under their tent leaving none for everyone else. The employees didn't seem to say anything about it either.

Great place for families. The beach can get crowded but overall it is easy to find a spot to set up. They have a wonderful pavilion with all the snacks or drinks you'd need in case you run out or forget your own. They have a safety zone making it easy with kids and not worrying about boats coming through. Even on crowded days there is enough parking and the furthest back spots are still manageable to walk from for the average person. They have ramps making it easily accessible for those with wheelchairs, strollers, or wagons. Overall a fantastic experience.

We had a great time! It was so hot out that despite being a lake I swam my heart out! I’m for sure going back. My family loves the water, sand and being together!

One of the tri states best hidden gems. Clean beach, mornings are never crowded. Food and drink stand. We always have fun there

If you want to take your pet just know they aren’t allowed on the beach. They have zero signs about it until you’re right by the water but the park rangers or whoever they are will make you move to the grassy area. I didn’t see anything about it on the website so just a heads up if you want to bring your furry friend with you. You can bring them but be prepared to stay in the grassy area. It’s a nice beach. Seems to be pretty popular!

It's close to Cincinnati and it is just a nice place to bring your family for the day. I suggest staying till sunset and going about a mile down the road to the dam and watching it from there! Prettiest Sunset ever seen including tropical places I've been to throughout my life!
