Likes the place.
After dry camping for 3 days it was like a little bit of resort
In 2026 it was 40 a night for no hookups.
Got showers & laundry.
A little creek runs like a canal right through the middle of the camp sites
Great views if it's not to windy to be on up on 55-61.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds I've stayed.  The views of the mountains surrounding you and a small creek that runs through the camground/each sight depending how you looks at it.  The staff were helpful and very nice.
We were self contained which was very good...one very important thing to remember is you never know who your neighbors are and how they may behave once they've had a few beers with thier friends. However,  I do believe it is the campgrounds host, owner,  whomever is on duty that night to handle any situations that may arise...In this situation they did just that and it was not allowed to get out of hand and the situation was handled and all was well.  I was concerned and must say disappointed that said group was n I t asked to leave the next day, however the group did follow post rules and was no issue the next night...However, like I said I was NOT sleeping in a tent and all was quiet by 10pm the posted quiet time.
I believe the owners handled it good.  The campground is absolutely beautiful and Yes, I would stay here again, as I am already planning to next time I pass this way.😊

October 2025. Site 12. My stay here was OK. Just OK. Not more, not less.
The sites were way too close together. People burned all night smogging the place up. People came in or back late and opened and slammed car doors for excessive periods of time.
The power in my site worked well. Its the only reason I stayed there. BUT the water was gross. Tasted strongly of metal and there were rust chunks in my water jug. The outside of my water pipe was covered in mildew and moss.
The bathroom was pretty gross. Toilet unflushed and full of poo. Its a paid shower. Not inclusive. But the shower was full of hair and very unclean. Good thing I never shower without shower shoes. Even at the Hilton.
There is ice there, but its 6.50 a bag. Theres a few odds and ends for sale too.
One the better side the landscape in that area is amazing! Theres so much to do in Bishop. That whole area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiast.
The lady in the office was nice. She was very descent to me. And overall I did feel safe there.

As others have reviewed, showers require tokens & if you get there after 5p then you are out of luck.  I talked to the camp host the next day (Suzi?) & she said that I should have read the fine print.  Not the cleanest of bathrooms.  Also, no 'quite hours'; dozens of kids yelling & screaming during the day, went to sleep at ~9p, then up again yelling & screaming at 6a!

Beautiful place!! Dont get me wrong, bathrooms were kept clean, you had to buy tokens to shower i think they're 2$ each? I dont remember, but Its for hot water, and I used my token and ended up showering with COLD water, I guess it was broken or something? And the neighbors do NOT respect quiet hours. They were up til 3 AM with LOUD music. We had brought our 10 month old for their first camping trip and it was really hard to put her to sleep because of the music 🥲, once it did get quiet it was nice to hear the creek as white noise which helped. 3/5 stars.

We are thoroughly enjoying our time here. They offer tent sites and full RV hookups. There are showers, restrooms, and laundry facilities available around the clock. Please note that showers require tokens, which can be obtained at the office before 5 p.m. The camp host is exceptionally kind and helpful. All sites are situated near a creek, perfect for relaxing in a chair or watching children play. The grounds also feature a playground, park, lake with fish, a baseball field, and other amenities. Also, the grounds border BLM land so you can ride right out the back gate.

This campground is nicely shaded. It has a cute little creek running through the middle of the campground. It is very close to a large area that offers golf, swimming, fishing and park area for picnics and playground. Sadly it doesn’t allow dogs in this extra area.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay another 2 nights.

Was so amazing here camp ground was very clean very well set up has  a creek like mini river lol running along the campsites have nice clean restrooms with showers and hot water. Also on grounds have a lil store very quick grab like ice snacks and firewood .its 1st time here and I wont be my last ill be here again next year!!!

Maybe I don’t understand RV life, but $35/night with no electric? Also, 10$/night/extra car. So three nights @ $165? Also, showers aren’t included in that? The campground is fine, but $1500+ per month?

Nice. Clean. Hot showers. Nice white, lit bathrooms. Stream help drown out each other’s noise.

Reserved online once we got there & were able to check out all the spots, payed with cc online. Easy. Also able to insert payment paper and cash in pay box though, & after 6 I guess availability doesn’t get updated online.

We came in 15 after 6 and missed the office hours to buy “shower tokens” we had to ask to buy from neighbors.

The sites are spacious and sandy, and the campground itself is relatively quiet and away from all the heavy rush of city tourist folk in the nearby towns. A word on the bathrooms, they are spotless; they look like hospital bathrooms... great showers as well, giant stalls with powerful water coming through. However, note that if you want the showers you will need to purchase tokens, and you will need to arrive before 5 PM to get the tokens. We only stayed for one night but we had a very calm and pleasant experience.

Great campground. We had a small travel trailer and a tent set up and it worked perfectly. Built in fire pits at each site, as well as water hook ups.There is grass strip with a small creek running through the middle. The kids loved to play in that. 24 hour bathrooms and SHOWERS. Only $2 for a 7 minute token for hot water. The cold runs for free. You'll need to purchase your token at the front office during office hours. Small laundry room on site too. We didn't check out the small pond near the site for fishing, but did go to a couple of the nearby lakes within 20-30 minute drive. We picked it after having to leave Rock Creek Camp Ground due to fire evacuations, and as the last random place nearby that wasn't filled with others who evacuated, it was an awesome find. Only downside, if there was one, is that it is downwind from a horse ranch, and smells it at times. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend for a fun time.

I adored this place and very happy that my family tumbled upon it. The staff was so friendly and helpful! There was a great array of sites to choose from for all kinds of rigs that also had all the amenities we could need. They did have some fun and very relaxing activities to choose from I personally enjoyed the location and the hiking trails as there was so much beauty from all around. It was also easy to get to and there was a lot of great places nearby that didn’t take long to get to (for food, etc).
