I am not impressed as the water is yucky. I saw a few boats and a few people camping. The water is definitely not for swimming. Also, it is empty. However, the grass is really nice.

Such a nice area. Easy access to off load your boat or paddleboard. Big Lake, room for all. Nice camping spots as well.

A small, open campground with a few sheltered spots. Kind of off the beaten path, this area has a boat launch and will appeal most to those who can utilize it.

Very quiet.

Campsites are much closer together then the map shows. Site 9 and 11 are basically attached, glad it's occupied by such a nice family. The hand launch for canoes and kayaks is not paved or maintained and is basically a mossy mud pit, impassable without serious rubber boots. There is no real water access so if you are planning to spend time on/in the water, this is probably not the campsite for you.

I really wavered back and forth with my rating. I think 3.8 would be more accurate one. The negatives are the sites are on the small side. The campground is not patrolled so it can get noisy at night. Not great water access for a boat. No power, water or playground. It's small and not many places to walk. Ok the positives are its clean, lots of secured garbage containers but they fill quickly (negative), open grass areas, flat campsites makes leveling trailer easy, nice fire pits. The best for last, a beautiful hidden gem, a lazy waterway that weaves through a grassy area. Its perfect for kayaking!

It's a smaller provincial recreation area, excellent access to Buck Lake. RV and camping at $21 a day, but there's no services. Outhouses only, and you can't drink the water. The area is very beautiful, numerous birds, and small animals. If your seeking a quiet place to camp this is the place.
