Been here a week. No complaints at all. Staff is wonderful! Spot is great for our 44ft motorhome, car and dining tent. Full hookups! Water pressure good. Water is fine. Easy in and easy out. Large sites. Monthly rental for us this time so we will be paying the electric bill. Area well cared for. You can hear a train go by, but not all that loud. The Buffalo House Restaurant has some very tasty Gluten free options on their menu. Great place just up the hill from the campground. T-Mobile data usually good here. They also have wifi which has been working good for us. Close to Duluth.

We have been staying here for the last 6 years. Anytime we are in Duluth we stop, even if it is just for lunch. The entire place, campground included is clean and well maintained. We love getting to see the same bartenders still working there, year after year.

A separate building but linked with the campground I believe.. a bit more costly but very private and has a sauna! Only for those in this building. Private! Absolutely incredible stay, not too far from Duluth.. Wonderful dining option. Loved it!

Overall, this is a great campground. Here’s a few spots that I’ve put together in the last couple of days. Pros: If you stay here, make sure and stay in the “electric “part. It’s hidden back in the woods and the sites are frequently huge if you stay in sites 31 and 32. My recommendation is to stay in Site 31, it was like we had a whole state part to ourselves . It’s at least four times the size of your normal campground site. It was amazing. Cons: This is the first campground that I’ve come across that charges for the showers as you’re taking a shower. It was $.50 for four minutes and even has a quarter machine at all of the four showers. I think, maybe as a hint to get us to leave, they started weed eating outside our site at 8:30 am the day we were leaving. Overall, I recommend this campground. Like I said, stay in the “non-full hook up “sites as they are secluded and have huge trees around them. The full hook up sites are in an open lot with no shade and your right next to one another.
