Been here a week. No complaints at all. Staff is wonderful! Spot is great for our 44ft motorhome, car and dining tent. Full hookups! Water pressure good. Water is fine. Easy in and easy out. Large sites. Monthly rental for us this time so we will be paying the electric bill. Area well cared for. You can hear a train go by, but not all that loud. The Buffalo House Restaurant has some very tasty Gluten free options on their menu. Great place just up the hill from the campground. T-Mobile data usually good here. They also have wifi which has been working good for us. Close to Duluth.

We have been staying here for the last 6 years. Anytime we are in Duluth we stop, even if it is just for lunch. The entire place, campground included is clean and well maintained. We love getting to see the same bartenders still working there, year after year.

A separate building but linked with the campground I believe.. a bit more costly but very private and has a sauna! Only for those in this building. Private! Absolutely incredible stay, not too far from Duluth.. Wonderful dining option. Loved it!

Overall, this is a great campground. Here’s a few spots that I’ve put together in the last couple of days. Pros: If you stay here, make sure and stay in the “electric “part. It’s hidden back in the woods and the sites are frequently huge if you stay in sites 31 and 32. My recommendation is to stay in Site 31, it was like we had a whole state part to ourselves . It’s at least four times the size of your normal campground site. It was amazing. Cons: This is the first campground that I’ve come across that charges for the showers as you’re taking a shower. It was $.50 for four minutes and even has a quarter machine at all of the four showers. I think, maybe as a hint to get us to leave, they started weed eating outside our site at 8:30 am the day we were leaving. Overall, I recommend this campground. Like I said, stay in the “non-full hook up “sites as they are secluded and have huge trees around them. The full hook up sites are in an open lot with no shade and your right next to one another.

Family friendly and pet friendly campground in Duluth, MN. Beautiful camping and fun restaurant and bar. Always something fun going on. Also, right off the Munger State trail.

We loved this campground! We didn’t have a long enough hose for the water hookup, so Darrel (the manager) brought one out immediately and we could keep it all night. All the staff was so nice and welcoming. Campground was so clean and nice trails to walk around. The bar & grill had great food and service. 10/10!

Very nice campground! Close enough to Duluth but far enough away to be a little quieter! Buffalo House had great food and it was convenient to pick up at take back to our camper.

Overall a great campground. Clean, quiet, just outside of Duluth and it has an entrance to a great family bike trail. We've stayed a handful of times here with our camper. They could use a 2nd bathhouse down in the lower camp at some point, but have smaller toilets well staged around the sites. Highly recommended.

Very nice, well kept campground. We definitely will camp here next time we come to Duluth. Darrell is a 5 star guy. We were stranded in town when the alternator went out of our Surburban. Darrell came to our rescue and took my husband to town to get a new one so he could repair it. It was a Sunday mind you and he was right there!💕 We had our 4 grandchildren with and he offered to take us back to the campground so we didn't have to wait, but we were in the shade so we were fine as it was a 90⁰ day. Can't say enough good about this place . 5 💥 for sure!!

Really great place to stay. Prices are a bit steep, but it has to be to keep the sanity and rif raf out. I would however reduce the restaurant prices to bring in more volume. The Fine folks who work here at the time are excellent still needs alot of work but from my understanding it's come a long ways 🙃

Very helpful and informative park manager. He gave perfect directions to all the sites we went to help this park our camper, brought firewood out to our campsite. There was very clean showers. There was a restaurant on site that served the biggest helpings I have ever seen one of the best experiences I've ever had at a campground. Daryl was awesome.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at what a nice campground this turned out to be! Everything is well taken care of. It was busy but we still had room to relax and do our own thing. It was quite at night. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Connects to Munger bike path. Darrell works hard on the grounds to make sure everything is going smoothly. From showing you where your camp spot is to bringing you firewood. He is friendly and easy going. The campground is close to Duluth and other great parks for sightseeing. We will be back. Our pups enjoyed it too! And very nice that there was not a fee for dogs!
