Calistoga RV Park

Great place to camp to be near fun things to do. Full hookups. Uber will come get you if you want to do wine stuff. There is a small grassy area for pets, but it'd be way nicer if fenced. There is a dog park about 1.5 miles down the road. There was a tractor pull at the fair ground which was kind of neat. We camped with a big group, but we'd definitely return.

The campground host Kenny and his wife are super nice. We enjoyed our stay! So close to a lot of fun things to do and a shuttle that takes you into town! Nice hot showers that you don't need tokens for! There is soap and paper towels in the bathrooms which are super clean. We came from staying at a National Parks(Yosemite-Wawona Campground) with no soap or way to dry your hands or showers. Yes it is a National Park but basic amenities in the bathrooms are a no brainer. The dump station is right in the park. We were totally happy staying here. Yes a picnic table would be nice but we just set up our table and it was fine. For where this place is located it is a little gem!

This place is tucked back a few blocks off main street and quiet. The bathrooms are in need of an updating but very clean. My only complaint is that there aren't any robe hooks by the shower stalls. I would definitely stay here again though but next time I will bring a drill and mount some hooks

Paid $1000 for 2 weeks even though I didn’t need all the hookups. Just needed a place while I looked for permanent housing due to a job nearby. When I arrived after driving 8 hours the day before my first day at the job, the hosts (who’d I’d spoken with a week before to make sure it was ok) said they’d spoken with a Shelly (apparently the person in charge?) and she said I wasn’t allowed in my van, which has a bed, sink and stove and loo. When I got upset because I never received a single text, call or email about that and would’ve made other arrangements. To be told that late in the day before my job starts is super unprofessional and I hadn’t even received a refund. They said she had called me which was a lie. If they’d spoken to me like they claimed they did, I wouldn’t have come and would’ve made other arrangements. I tried talking to them but they said they’d call the cops and had told me I couldn’t book (all they’d said was I couldn’t stay longer than 2 weeks which is why I booked only for 2 weeks) They have a bathroom. They’ve got plenty of space. Make it make sense. My reservation confirmation from yesterday reiterated I had paid for 2 weeks . Cop agreed with me. Apparently the camp hosts (who seem to be all over the place with what they said and their emotions and look like they drink too much or are on drugs) told the cops I was going to a rehab? LOL what?!? Why make up stories? Clearly they were trying to degrade my character to get the cop to treat me differently (which didn’t work but begs the question why they’d be blatantly lying to law enforcement) Between that and their emotional outburst when I came to check in, I’m shocked at the horrific customer service and a bit bewildered tbh. Use your money elsewhere. This place isn’t it. The fact they’ll treat customers like criminals & call cops on paying customers instead of taking accountability for their errors. Also, don’t take money if you won’t provide the service. I get that they used to get squatters but that’s not me and I’m a super easy camper: I work most days and am actively looking for an apartment. I wouldn’t even use their hookups but somehow my business isn’t wanted? lol ok. Let’s be clear; they’re not a CAMPGROUND as they advertise. They don’t want people with tents, self sufficient vans or anybody else but RVers for all days except big events.

Old run down parking lot. Decent location but Margaret, who works in office is awful! She acts like she owns the place. She's a miserable nasty person!!!

Park is all gravel with no shade. Bathrooms not very clean. Although it's in a good location and excepts Passport America.

The RV park is in a great location and is walking distance (10 minute walk) to downtown Calistoga. We enjoyed our three-day stay.

My wife and I spent 4 nights (Niv 2018) at Calistoga RV Park in our Class-B Sprinter van camper. We were very pleased. Quiet, adjacent to a golf course, and located in a resin area just north of town. Walking distance (1/2 mile or so) to the main center of town. Beautiful access to bike rides in the northern Napa Valley wine area. We rode 20 miles on day! A facilities worked well. Kudos to “Monica”, a delightful, happy young lady who staffed the office. She’s such a pleasant person! The photo is taken within the RV park.

I'd give this park a 2. A few trees but we were out in a parking lot . Weedy kind of dumpy. Never saw or interacted with management . The neighborhood was nice but lots of narrow streets Not so RV friendly. They mentioned that our spot didn't have sewer but failed to mention they charge $15 extra to dump. Its all cute town with a nice main street . The park was quiet.

Overpriced Truck Stop!!- They do NOT have tent sites. You are packed in like at a truck stop, but at a 4 star price. WiFi didn't work, bathroom/showers were filthy. (My shower water had to run clear to the bathroom side to find a drain that wasn't plugged with trash.)
