The place needs some attention. Meaning, the men's bathroom has a leaking toilet that runs to a drain in the middle of the floor. Gross. The firepits have garbage in them. As new owners you think they would pay more attention to the little things. Oh and the shower will scald you. Be careful.

Stay up front. Back side along lake road has long-term campers camping, in tents, and trailers. Looked like a homeless park. Lots of trash, tents, half standing. On the bright side…. Bathrooms are clean, but in need of updating. Location is very convenient to the ferry. No problems checking in, good communications. Facility overall in need of updating. If there were an alternative, we would not stay here again.

Campground is old and tired and in badly need of maintenance. We were given a site next to the exposed trash dumpster and smelled garbage for 3 days. The laundry room only had 2 out of 5 working washers and the floor was sloshing with water due to a leaking machine. Would not recommend at all!

We were just driving through and hadn’t booked ahead, but decided to stop in. We were greeted by the owner—dressed in a Halloween costume even though it was the end of August! She explained that tonight was a Halloween-themed celebration for the kids, complete with trick-or-treating, a kids’ dance, and even an adults’ dance later in the evening. It looked like a lot of fun. We hadn’t come prepared to hand out candy, but she kindly gave us a large bowl to participate. That generous gesture really stood out. We stayed in a trailer at the far back of the campsite. It was basic, but it worked well for what we needed. The prices were very reasonable. Yes, the site is a bit dated and could use some work but honestly, it reminded my wife and me of the camping we did as kids. There’s a certain charm to that. The staff were super friendly, and the other guests were just as nice. The Halloween-themed night added a really fun and unexpected touch to our stay. Thanks for a great time, see you next time!
