The owner should be called Scrooge McDuck. Several potentially illegal practices: the annual fees for seasonal campers are not transferable vs. practically all other campsites. Everything is chargeable, or almost: internet, shed, additional equipment; there is barely a "cover charge" for going to pee. Several questionable practices: does not accept trailers more than 10 years old as seasonal, but the owner can buy your old trailer to resell it for a good profit or even... put it back on the campsite. In addition, it is indeed a festival of golf carts and comparison. The cafeteria is very meh. In short, it is a business and not a warm and family place. Run away! Oh yes, the lake is... not clean... the zoo is upstairs...

Our little family's first camping experience went wonderfully thanks to the staff. From booking to departure, they were attentive to our needs. The activities offered on site are varied and almost all free. A $20 deposit is required for some activities, such as mini putt or sporting equipment rentals. Finally, the campsite is well-maintained and the restroom facilities are very clean.

They need to increase shower times because 50 cents for 3 minutes is not sufficient. Other camp sites offer 25 cents per 5 minutes. They need more bloc sanitaire with at least 3 bathroom and two showers each. Refunds or credits need to be issued for campsites and cart rental when changes happen. We left 1 week early due to a family emergency therefore they profited of 4 days of campsite and cart rental with no chance of refunds of credits which is poor customer service. Best to pay ona per week basis for a cart rental and site refunds are just a lost cause. Dommage this money doesn't seem to be reinvested to provide better services. Overall, it was a great campsite as it is pet and children friendly. Note: Never opt for the campsite wifi - doesn't work.
