i loved the place .. it was my first ever stay in a campground and we stayed in a cottage which had every basic amenity inside…. it was peaceful and the lake has some astonishing views on sunrise. there is a book exchange cupboard corner where you can put your book and take your book for free… people were nice inside too.. juliana was welcoming and the old lady who came to clean next day was super helpful… i took a pen from her to write a message inside the book i kept in the exchange;)…. i would just highlight though that the staff needs to ensure nobody makes a lot of noise as a rv trailer or a cottage nest me were super loud with their music and laughing like witches….Was a turn off… but ut was a great place to stay .

Good location about 20Km from downtown Quebec City. You're not going to find many RV parks any closer and if you do, they will certainly be more expensive. This campground offered a very reasonable rate for a month-long stay. They have very few rules, so they don't sweat the minor stuff. There is a small pool and play area for kids. They offered an antique car show and fireworks over Labor Day weekend, which goes beyond what most offer. Staff was friendly and bilingual (but allowed me to practice my weak French). Looks like they are doing improvements to address some of the concerns others have posted. With all of this going on, I should rate it a 5... But unfortunately I had the misfortune of being assigned space 401, the worst possible space in the park. It is located right next to the main entrance, so EVERY car and camper that comes in and out passes right by my site. It's also the closest to the highway noise. Worse yet, it's located right next to the dumpsters, so I get that noise as well. Someone actually dumped trash at midnight. I know because it woke me up. Also the garbage trucks come early and are very loud. My experience was really a 3 star at best. If you're not in site 401, you might get a 4-star experience. If you are located past the pool and playground, it will certainly be quieter and likely a 5 star experience. Small note: The main road is very narrow and getting into sites can be difficult with larger rigs.

Nice relaxing spot to stay that's an affordable alternative when visiting Quebec City. We stayed in a very comfortable 5th wheel trailer with a great kitchen. There's a pool, laundry facilities, playground and entertainment on the weekends. Small concession on site

This campground was ok. Not the best, yet not the worst. When we first arrived, it was raining, and it was evident that the park is not suitable for when it rains as numerous sites were flooded. The sites were also set up in an interesting way. I observed that some campers had to be backed in in a way that looked nearly impossible. Also in the campsites are many trees which are nice until you are leaving and they are an obstacle to dodge.

Rented a waterfront trailer. The sight was lovely. The trailer was a bit run down but clean and affordable. Much cheaper then a hotel close to the city. The young women working the front desk was wonderful. Would definitely go back again.
