I'm a San Diego local, but...Attended Mission Bay Vintage Trailer Rally at Campland...it is FAB! Has a store, a restaurant(good cheeseburgers!), a bar, live music, a couple of pools, a beach... so much to do! The electricity hookup worked well. The bathrooms(with showers, too) are nice and clean. There are security folks around, but I felt perfectly safe. Great place!

This place has gone down hill immensely. New ownership and management are pathetic and trashy. The only thing they care to enforce is stopping kids having fun and enjoying their vacations. However they don’t care about all the filthy trash, smoking marijuana and blowing smoke all over other campers and campsites. I would not recommend anyone visiting here untill this place gets it together and starts enforcing common sense not allowing your guest to fill the campsites with marijuana smoke that blows all over your kids.

I haven’t stopped talking about Campland on the Bay since we got home! From beginning to end, it was a great experience for us first-timers. Backing into our spot was easy, the entire park is super dog friendly, the Cantina has great food and drinks, pools were heated, made friends in the hot tub. Had lunch on the beach, met so many nice people, seems to be tons of activities for kids. What I love the most is the sense of community at Campland, since several campers stay long-term. 10/10 would recommend! We will give going back.

I was impressed with the facilities, cleanliness, staff, everything. Daily activities were really fun (pickle ball, yoga, crafts, etc.). The bicycle path is amazing, you can see the entirety of Mission Bay and more. What a great stay cation for someone from Imperial Beach. My new local camp spot

We stayed here for two nights and were relieved to leave. Great location right on the bay, and the staff was very friendly... but this place had kids EVERYWHERE. Running, screaming, zooming in front of cars, etc. It was noisy until well after 11:00.pm. The lots are small and close together with dolls, broken scooters, bikes, kayaks, clothes, shoes, and towels everywhere. Our rig was hit twice with wiffle balls, and once by a softball. I don't mind kids but this was awful. There are better places to relax in San Diego.

This place has it all, seriously, everything you need for an awesome vacation. So many on site activities it makes it difficult to leave and go explore. Staff is amazing, helpful at every turn. Would definitely come back here.

Great campground! Seems as though people stay here long-term, or as long term is they're able. Everyone is friends and super neighborly. Seems as though privacy might be an issue but if you're not doing anything wrong who cares right?! Everyone just rides their beach cruisers around as everything you could possibly need as just a short pedal away. They have a ice cream shop a concert stage and they are right smack dab on the water. Photo ops a-plenty &a smiling face no matter which direction you look. Will be back most certainly.

Location location location. Factoid. Great camp location in Pacific Beach. A huge plus Factoid. Location within camp grounds. You can get easily get screwed depending on the location. You have your loud weekenders boozing it up with pit fires mire feet’s from your room. Amenities great. Place Ed kept clean all times. Pier that jets out for fishing a big plus Nice big stage Nice lawn. Fantastic beach. Small for the park. It has killer views.

The park has a lot of amenities which makes it's great spot for the whole family. The staff seemed friendly and everything went smoothly. If you're planning a visit you should know that this park, at least during this visit, was loaded full of folks with kids and dogs and the general vibe matches the neighboring PB party vibe. That said, I'd describe it as busy or perhaps vibrant. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, this is not that. Additionally I'd just point out that though the park appears to be in good repair, it shows it's age throughout. Considering everything, I would come back here and imagine that anybody in need of short term RV hookups would find plenty to like about this spot. For folks looking for a 5 star resort I imagine your opinion of the park will be influenced heavily by the number of kids, dogs, and beer you'll be bringing with you.
