My family and I love to camp here or even just for a day at the beach every summer. We usually take our lunch at the beach so kids can play and swim and go back to the camp before dinner.

I have been coming to this campground for years, never ever had a problem. The people they have working there are always in a good mood and make you feel welcome. The campsites are always clean and semi private (ones I've used anyways) The beaches are clean and the atmosphere is even better. If you're looking for a good time and fun activi with the kids this would be good for you. They have showers to clean yourself and there is even a couple washer and dryers for you to use ($2 per washer/dryer) Don't forget to bring your own laundry soap, fabrics softener and dryer sheets! You can expect your neighbors to be very respectful and quiet and some might even say Hi! I will definitely will be coming here to for years to come! Did I mention they have a canoe you can rent hourly?

I love Candle Lake! Great sites! Really nice walking path, sandy beaches, water is great to paddle board on, and just discovered a nice disk golf course 45 min leisurely walk from our campsite (much shorter to drive obviously!!) Bathrooms are ok, the ones near our site were dark but always had toilet paper and never felt (or smelled) gross. The bathrooms with showers were nice enough. Lots of spots with water for dishes. Love the laundry room as it has a nice big sink.

One of my favourite Sk parks for camping šļø First time camping here and the service is great the camping Area is well structured, nice fire pit, not much rocks on the ground and lots of trees surrounded. Close to a lot of nice ābeachesā šļø Speaking of which, the beaches are awesome, CRISTAL WATER, beautiful 𤩠ONLY ONE THING that bugs me, the fact that the water is FRIGID⦠letās say ARTIC!! š„¶ I canāt go inside, but the kids donāt care š very shallow and it perfect for kids.

Staff was extremely helpful in getting us a site for a large group when we were evacuated from another campground

Had fun. But all campsites toilets sucks. And I donāt understand why all the garbage bins were locked. We had to leave garbage by the bin like others. Four stars for the friendly staffs and scenic view. Ohh one more thing, we had little storm stayed about 30 mins. A tree broke just within 100 feet of our site blocking the road. It was there like that until one of the camper cut it enough to get through. The next day it was there. No one from the park came to move the tree.

Need own generator/ full solar unit on roof of trailer/:other unit &;hope for lots of sun. Hot weather helps! Need to bring drinking water & waste water 4 washing dishes etc. Tenting esp challenging if severely disabled. Be aware of the bears. Store food etc safely!

Sandy Bay campground was an excellent experience! The beach (nice sand) and lake are beautiful, and the sunsets are amazing. The bathrooms are clean for camping standards, and have free warm showers. Full service or unserviced sites available and the wood is FREE! I would definitely stay here again.
