Was there for the day. Great stop, park is set up nice. the lake seems choked down with coontail moss and lily pads. If you're an angler, this may make you smile. Trails were easy, MAKE SURE YOU BRING BUG SPRAY, the chiggers were horrible. lol The lady at the visitors center was an absolute joy to talk with. Very knowledgeable about the area. We will be back for some camping and fishing.

This park is wonderful for children! Flat paved surface for them to ride all their toys on! Large shadey lots! Lots don't seem on top of each other either. Clean bathrooms with showers. Mine was hot, my neighbors was not...clean, great store, boat ramp was nice, just BE AWARE THE LAKE IS FULL OF STUMPS!!!! TROLLING MOTOR IS ADVISED! You have been warned. Wifi available free at the camp! 15.5 mile trail to home around the lake. A paved handicap walk from.camp.to the boat ramp and dock which is very nice! Also, included with your campsite is a curtisory dock with a path to the campground from there that is really nice!.We took our Class A!

There's a great walking trail, but I'd recommend a bit of stretching prior to walking it. I'll be hearing about this trail for a while, we walked a total of 5 miles due to our dog, and me saying we should continue. It was a really fun experience.

This was a great stay at a state park! The view of the lake was very pretty! Has electricity and water hook-ups...no sewer, which is expected at most state parks! There was a very well maintained walking trail, big playground, and plenty of fishing areas. The town was pretty sleepy, but had the necessities at the local Piggly Wiggly! I would stay here again!

A great little state park to visit. Boat ramp and dock for fishing. Wildlife was everywhere. Plenty of camping spots and even a camper cabin to rent if you need to stay the night there. Highly recommend stopping in the visitor center to see all their stuff and visit with the staff. So friendly! Makes for a great stop.

A nice, quiet campground with excellent RV spots featuring 30- and 50-amp power and water hookups. We camped out of our Jeep with a rooftop tent and our two dogs and really enjoyed our stay. Be cautious of copperheads on the trails, and enjoy the abundance of birdwatching opportunities in the area.

Great camp site, great wildlife experience, great staff. Good 15 mile hiking trail. Best part was definitely the staff clearly loving what they do. Next was a bald eagle, 3 beavers, dozens of dear, lots of life. Camp site was perfect. 15 mile hike ended up being 17 due to getting off the traile between 6 and 8. Felt pretty bad about it until we found another couple that also was lost in the same spot! Lets get some scouts to help with new markers!

Have been here twice. The first time we came to do a little catch up with some friends and do a little camping. The camp sites were very clean and the facilities were easy to get to and very clean as well. The second time I came with, both my daughters and we talked to the woman at the Visitor Center, she was very nice and very knowledgeable. She also recommended quite a few different ways to enjoy the park from doing some, beginning, backpacking to doing some kayaking to doing a little day. Hike to Doing some Eagle watching And she also pointed out where some of the Eagles were probably hanging out. We only had time to do the playground and checkout the lake from the fishing area.

We stayed at Cane Creek State Park on 10/28-29. From the moment we pulled in til the second we left we were at peace. This park was so pretty. It’s a small campground area and anyone we talked to was very nice. We lucked out and grabbed spot 28 on the end. We like to be on the end anyway because we have dogs and just like the openness. But when we got parked and saw the added fence on the patio we were more excited 😂 even if we stay somewhere for just one night we always find a way to make a “happy home” and this spot sure helped make that happen 🤩 the dogs were able to sit out with us on their beds and watch squirrels 🐿️ and 🍁 leaves as they were falling. I say it’s fall, my husband says they are dead from the drought either way…. It was pretty 😂 so yeah there was a burn ban so my fire pit dreams didn’t come true this time but it’s ok, I was out in my camper with my husband and dogs so I was just fine✨ we strolled down to the fishing dock and I have to say if there was a physical feeling of the emotion AWESTRUCK I felt it! 🤩 😮 it was soooo petty! Calm water, the skies colors beginning to change as the sun started to set and those Lilly pads were so cool 🐸 We’ll probably never come back to this campground ever again because we just want to see lots of different places, but if I ever get the chance to recommend an RV camping spot in STAR CITY, ARKANSAS, this is it! ⭐️

I love our state parks. The employees here were super friendly and helpful. The trails were very well marked. I can always appreciate that. Cane Creek has bike and kayak rentals. We tried the bikes. They had seen better days but we managed to have a good time. They didn't have any kid bikes at the time so my smallest struggled a bit on a big bike. The restrooms were clean. They also have a bait shop and a fishing pier. I will definitely come back.

Its a nice park. The women at the vistors center were super nice. Theres a nice concrete walkway now that goes from the campgrounds over to the boat docks. The bike trail is also a walking trail. Parts of the trail i had to walk the bike up some steep hills. Its clean there, the campsites are easy to back into. We will go back soon.

Nice quiet park with well spaced campsites. I only wish sites were available with sewer. Good trails for hiking and mountain biking. Lots of amenities for fishing including boat ramp, fishing piers, courtesy boat slips at the campground and on site bait shop at the visitor center. Kayak, flat bottom boat and bike rentals. Star City AR just a few miles from the park for groceries, gas and a few restaurants.

Small peaceful campground. Sites are well spaced and lots of shade. Bathrooms are clean and they sell wood on site. The best thing about this campground is the people who stay here, friendly but not intrusive, quiet and respectful of your space. Only one campsite with “Grizwald” lights blinking all night. Hopefully they found the park too boring and will never return. If you want quiet and peaceful, this is the perfect park. If you like glam-camping, please move on down the road.

Like home away from home. Personally, I'm in love with this place for more reason than I can think of. Very warm and it's location is hard to beat. It's proximity to town is perfect. I'd live there if allowed
