Canyon Gateway Grand Canyon RV Park & Glamping

Glamping is the wrong term. Overpriced rooms that have seen better days, not cleaned adequately (stained bedding and couch) and located directly on a busy road. The pictures on the website that give you the impression that the site is located in the forest are misleading. The worst thing is the ignorance in the event of a complaint; probably part of the company philosophy! They charge you fees and keep your money! We had to take legal action to get our money back after 3 months!

Sorry, I forget the nightly and weekly rate. Right by the truck stop and not far from I-40 so there is some noise all night but not bad Toilets/ showers are pretty good but not new. This is a vacation glamping park too so there are people having a good time so there might be some late noise. One exit from the road to the GCyn. Not a park to really crow about.

Sorry wouldn’t stay here if you paid me, the people working there were so rude! We inquired about staying and immediately left after speaking to a very rude woman! This does not seem like a travelers RV park, it seems more like a park where people live. We are an older couple in our early 60’s with a nice truck and ToyBox.

Affordable and clean. Beds weren't that comfortable but had plenty of pillows and blankets. The friendliest staff. Fully stocked kitchen and spacious fridge. There is plenty of space for a family of 4. Close to downtown Williams, just a short drive away.

Terrible place. Staying at a truck stop will be as good and cheaper. Your bed is 150 feet away from a large truck stop. You can hear the guy announcing what shower is available all night long. At about 8:00 pm the trucks start coming in, one after the other all night long. When the parking spots at the truck stop are full they park right next to your campsite and idle all night long. The RV "pads" are a mix of mud and pebbles, you will track it all over the floor of your RV. The "pads" are not level, I could not get my RV leveled without stacking a bunch of blocks under the jacks. The "gravel" is very soft and you will sink into it if you don't have a large pad under your jacks. Now for the good part, it was cold the night we stayed there, and their electrical is not in tip-top shape. Only a 30 amp service was available. In cold weather, I plug a trouble light in and put it in the wet bay. Their pedestals would not accommodate another plug so we froze up overnight. We planned to stay two nights, but with no water, we left at 9:00 am the first morning. When we told her we were leaving early, the parrot at the front desk could only say, "we do not offer refunds" over and over. Avoid this place.

Very nice quiet rv park. Very clean as well. Being so close to the freeway didn't really here traffic. We would be back maybe try in the summer

My husband and I stayed for one night with our two dogs and absolutely love it. We booked last minute because we were traveling through and was immediately sent all the information we needed to do a self check in along with all the answers for any question we could have had. Upon arrival we found snacks and waters for us, and doggie bags and treats for our pups. The trailer was super clean, roomy and was everything we could have asked for. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone coming to Williams.

Remote but across from a Loves station. Some truck noise but not enough to loose sleep. Clean, plenty of site space. Convient to Williams and the Grand Canyon Train. Overall we would come back.

Great getaway from Phoenix. Staff was awesome. Very reasonable for what you get in terms of size. Short jaunt into historical Route 66/Dowtown Williams. Family and pet friendly.

We stayed in the motel room #16. After returning to our room, we noticed around 9:30pm the heat was not working!!! The temperature was 40degrees and raining! The office was closing at 10. No phones in the rooms. So have to walk down to the office. The woman new the heat wasn’t working. She offered to move us with our 10 month old sleeping baby at 9:45 pm in the dark, cold, wet muddy ground. To another room. Or the other option was to offer us 2 blankets and a little plastic space heater. 😳😟 When I booked the room. I specifically asked if the heat works. He said yes. So I went ahead With the reservation.. They refused to refund or even give a discount. The rooms carpet are very very old and dirty. If you have allergies forget it. There is No outside lighting by the door! Very Overgrown bushes and trees. Coming in at dark, you can’t see a thing. 2 electrical outlets not working. You are given 1 tiny coffee pod for 2 people. Overall: disappointed. Would not recommend the motel part.
