We try and get to this campground at least once annually. Sometimes we're lucky and we get in twice. It's location next to the river is awesome. The river is excellent for rafting and tubing. There's also great fishing. Campground is well maintained and well monitored.

Nice campground. Had site 9. Level side to side. Paved pull through with gravel patio area. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This is a great campground. With pull through sites. Water is available throughout the campground from a water Spicket. Very clean men's and women's restroom 🚻 vaults, with hand sanitizer dispensers. Plus, this Campground has paved blacktop roads and camp sites.

Misquoted to death so far. But soooo beautiful. It's worth the trip outside of Yellowstone. Electricity, so AC is running. So I can't believe how fortunate we have been with camping. #boondocking

Right on the Buffalo river. There's some great spots down the road that you can do a 30 minute float. Make sure you store food properly, there's black bears and grizzlies. Take high deet bug spray, the mosquitoes are killer. But very friendly setting, tall grass all around and pine. There's trailer spots and hookups, as well at tent camping spots. Definitely recommend spending avweekend here.

We took our 2 grandsons here with a camp trailer for a couple days. We had a great time. No complaints. We were able to reserve one of the few sites with electric and drive thru in loop C. Make sure to check the map at the entrance of the loop for the water locations and fill up before parking.

Very nice, clean campground. Some spots have electric hook up. There are places that allow you to fill your water tank. No sewer hook-ups. It's by the river so you can float the river. Some area's require reservations. Host's are very helpful. Vault toilets are very clean.

We Loved the Buffalo camp ground! It is about half an hour from Yellowstone's west gate. We stayed the first week in June for four nights. We started in B-12, which was a perfect pull through for our trailer and it was right by the river! We decided to stay another night and moved to A-8, just a row down which had the same perfect pull through and view of the river. The camp host was very friendly and informative and a pleasure to talk to! We will be returning to this campground for sure!

Beautiful place ran by ugly people! Very unfriendly hosts who impose rules that they do not follow themselves. We were harassed several times by the hosts over simple things being left out (that shouldn’t attract bears) while the dumpsters were overflowing with trash (which would attract bears). Hosts were very aggressive and rude towards us about our OHV even when following their rules and our OHV was vandalized while parked in their designated OHV parking. Do not recommend staying here!

We stayed here in the group campsite in early July 2021 during a Scout travel camp, for five days. We were doing stuff in Yellowstone, and this camp was in the perfect range. There is plenty of room, our girls were able to swim and wade in the Buffalo River (which is the southern border of the camp), and there was great infrastructure for getting our cooking done. Lots of nice tent sites. The camp hosts were wonderful people as well, and had a bunch of intel about the area. I would gladly stay here again, with a group, or just family.

Great campground. We had a very beautiful site. The sites aren't to close together so you don't fell like your on top of your neighbor. The bathrooms must be the cleanest camp bathrooms I've ever seen.

We really loved our stay here. Even though there was a ton of sites it was very quiet and the river was an added bonus. Do yourself a favor pack your chairs and walk on down with a can.

Loved it! Outstanding host Dennis, extremely helpful in finding us a spot when it was nearly full. Beautiful site, saw the cow moose that wanders the campground. Nice calm river that runs, great to float or paddle board. We hope to be back!
