Casini Ranch Family Campground is located in Duncans Mills, California, and is a great place to enjoy a family camping experience. The campground is situated on the Russian River, and offers a variety of activities for all ages. There are over 200 campsites, including tent sites, RV sites, and cabins. Amenities include a swimming pool, hot tub, playground, basketball court, horseshoe pits, and a general store. The campground also offers a variety of activities, such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and hiking. Casini Ranch Family Campground is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors with your family.

Casini Ranch Family Campground

For our families needs it does not get any better than this place. The staff assisted us to find the best spot for what we were looking for. Right on the river with easy access to Guerneville.

Casini: Our Second Home

We’ve been visiting Casini every other month for over a year now, and each time, we fall in love with it even more. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like we’ve found a second home. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and I’m even impressed by the general store. They always have everything we need, and the prices are great. It’s like we stumbled upon a hidden gem when we discovered Casini. We can’t wait to go back and recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a fun and welcoming place to stay.

We rented a riverfront RV spot and absolutely loved our location and the campground. The Wi-Fi service is outstanding. Great coverage and great speed. The facilities are all clean and well kept.

We love coming here. It is a beautiful spot on the river. The facilities are well maintained and clean. They have great staff who are friendly and stop to engage you in conversation to make sure you have everything you need (shout out to Camp Host Anthony for you help with firewood). We've already booked our trips for 2025!

There are a couple of nice places walking distance (a bakery, a sandwich shop, a bistro). Wifi is strong.

Good mountain biking and kayaking.

Such a wonderful vacation! My family of four had such a great time enjoying the river, playground, feeding the animals, going on the “hey” ride and the ice cream social. Next time we definitely want to do the jumping pillow and move night.
We loved our spot - a standard campsite that was remote, private and beautifully situated riverfront.
The staff are awesome especially considering they are managing some rude people who don’t obey rules.
Most negative reviews are because they enforce the quiet hours (10pm-8am) and that’s exactly why we booked. We’re so happy that it’s peaceful after 10pm. Such a great stay!

BE AWARE!
This was my second time at Casini Ranch. There has been some changes I wasn’t aware of. I thought it was strange when I booked my site, you then have an option for an additional $30 in order to hold that site or you can be moved pending on their need.
Second, if you have people visiting and it’s after 6pm ( I believe, could be 8) it is $22.50 per person. Not per vehicle. I was having friends over to my camp site for dinner and they arrived to find out it was going to cost them $50 just for a couple of hours. I had a heated conversation with the staff, because it was just so unreasonable. Even after I had apologized for my language due to frustration, I was evicted. They did refund me for my last day. Which is odd, they lost not only $50 because we refused to be trapped. They also lost $75 for my refund.
They also have lost a lot more because I won’t ever go back, and I will share my story. My motivation to leave this review is to educate the RV/Camping family. Safe travels

Your response speaks volumes!

We have been to this campground twice now (both since Covid). Over all it is very nice. There was some miscommunication about how many vehicles and trailers were allowed at the group site we stayed at. Make sure to read all the fine print or get it in writing. Communication is lacking a bit between staff. Gets VERY full on the weekends and our camping neighbors were very loud this past time with music past 10 every night. Would love to go back again during a weekday when it is much less crowded. Nice to be on the River. Kids love the extras (some are extra $$$)

Nice family campground!
This place is family oriented and perfect for kids.
For Halloween they made a big wood witch that they burnt and told scary stories by the fire pretty awesome.
A little muddy because of the rain but that was okay.
Everyone there said people don't catch fish in that river and I caught two. Even if it wasn't the biggest fish in the world it was still fun.
Man it feels good to be country again! 🤠
I will definitely be going back.
Would like to check it out in the summertime I'm sure it's amazing swimming, fishing tubing and some really quality family time.
Can't wait to go back.
Most of the campsites are pretty roomy which is also nice.
Great Halloween weekend!

I took my family here for the first time and we all had a blast. The environment was safe lots of other kids running around so I felt my kids were safe too. They have a full store with lots of things at a reasonable price. They had family activities Saturday night. The place was clean and well kept and we didn’t have a problem with mosquitoes or flies. They have trails, basketball court, parks, beach river area. I’m going to try and do this each year now. Thanks Casini Ranch you guys are doing good things

A great campground with spots right on the beach of the river! There’s also some more forested spots as well. We stayed in site 46B and there was little tree coverage but a nice view of the river “canyon.” The general store is super convenient and they carry way more than you’d expect! They also take covid seriously and clean the bathrooms frequently. Plus the staff was super friendly! We went August 23rd, Monday through Wednesday, and the campground was fairly empty and quiet. Just one thing, I wouldn’t want to stay in the standard RV area, the sites are super close together and it’s all gravel with no trees.
