What a cool vibe that was. So relaxing, just miles south of Havasu proper, noice chill zone before hitting Parker's festival of activities. Very and peaceful, loved the mini hike.

One the best campground we have been. Checking in was easy and young lady so so nice. Site was very clean with water and electricity hook up. Bathrooms very clean with showers. Nice beach and hiking trails. Even had a separate dog beach. Nice cactus garden and fruit trees! Everybody so nice.

Best place you stay max 14 days stay but well worth it Clean well maintained bathrooms... hiking trails are great for every level of experience.. dog park with their own water area (not fully fenced) BUT your dog should be voice command training in high social areas! Plenty of dog walking areas on the levy and wash Run with pet stations! White sand beach for day use and a second beach for jet skiing and boats also only day use (remove your pop-ups.. cant save spots for next day first come first use) friendly kind staff and long term volunteers ... a cactus garden for a wonder walk ... and an amputheater (however you spell that lol) Has a trade wall books for reading DVDs for viewing and puzzles for mind exercising... bring your horseshoes there is a pit BOAT RAMP and parking (plenty)

This was our second time at Cattail Cove and we really enjoyed our visit. The campground is clean and well maintained. This park is absolutely dog friendly with many places to walk. We also hiked the McKinny loop. The rangers were friendly and helpful. We had good cell service. While it was very windy one day we still had a great time. Zero issues and would recommend for those who want to hike or enjoy the river.

We had an amazing time at this state park. Spot 59 fit our 42 ft camper, squishy, but we fit. There are grills at each campsite, all sites are 30amp but 4 are 50 amp. Water & power at each site with a dump station upon leaving. Theres a human beach and a dog beach, hiking, kayaking, camping, & grilling. We had a wonderful time with beautiful scenic views for sunset. Highly recommended park!

The weekend before labor day there's nobody on the water and was a spectacular time, weather was at a blistering 114 degree but once on the water it didn't feel that hot.

We are in town for a family event and brought along our jet skis. We were looking for a place to launch them, enjoy the beach and bring our dog. According to our AI assistant, this was the best spot. For only $20, our entire carload of 7 with our dog were allowed entry. Easy, and not crowded, plenty of parking and a dedicated dog "beach" where Max could run around off leash. If you don't have a dog there is a lovely "white sand" beach. As it was, we were able to take turns with our jet skis while the others enjoyed the less pretty dog beach. Bonus - there was a tree to sit under.

It was our first time with a boat and a local at a boat shop told us about this place. (We are not the type to book in advance) lol So we rolled up here on a Monday and there was space for us! Spaces were nice that you can pull your whole rig in. They are a little close together but doesn't really matter because we are out on the boat all day anyway. The rangers were all very nice here too and spaces were very clean and well kept. Bathrooms and showers were clean. We didn't use it, but they had a nice little swim beach with some games. They have a nice pet area with poop bag dispensers that you can walk along that leads to a dog beach, I really loved all of this! Made the morning potty walks pleasant. The boat launch was nice, plenty of room and not slippery. All in all it was a AMAZING first experience at the river, with a boat, and camping with a boat and two dogs. 😅 Thank you and I'm sure we will be back soon!

The grounds are beautifully maintained. The white sand Beach is raked daily, and cleaned several times a day. They even use a blower to blow the sand off of the walkways. I was very impressed, and we will be back.

We have stayed at Cattail Cove State Park in May for the last three years. This is a well kept and clean camping area on the Lake. We have always stayed in pull through campsite 48. Unfortunately prices have gone up from $30.00 to $50.00 a night. Office staff and maintenance staff should be complimented for their happy attitude.

This is a lovely state park campground with a nice beachfront on the Colorado River. Our stay here was very pleasant and the staff are very friendly. There are cacti gardens, an amphitheater, trails along the river, a dog park, and beach.

Very clean and well maintained campground. The hiking trails are awesome. The weather was awesome when we were here. Rangers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Ice cream and souvenirs available at the Ranger station. The beach has beautiful white sand. We would definitely come here again.

Beautiful state park with several hiking trails. A nice beach where you can relax and play volleyball. A boat ramp and a campground. The campground has electric and water. There’s a dump station by the entrance. Dump station closes at 3pm.
