Very nice campground. Bath houses were well kept and clean. Many of the sites are sloped, so make sure you bring blocks.

Took a spontaneous trip down memory lane to Raccoon State Recreation Park and it was just as magical as I remembered. I spent so many summers of my childhood at this lake and beach, and it was wonderful to revisit. The weather was perfectly cool, the sun was warm, and there was hardly a soul in sight—so peaceful and nostalgic. A perfect spot to relax and soak in some memories!

Very nice and clean lake. The property was clean and quiet. Nice fishing spots. And the ramp is well built and big so easy loading and unloading

One of Indiana’s great state parks. We stopped in on a chilly rainy day and had the park to ourselves. The beach area opens on Memorial Day weekend. Boat ramp was big and plenty of room to back that thing up. Plenty of picnic tables both covered and uncovered. Pavilions, bathrooms and fish cleaning area. What a park!

I love it here. It has camping, fishing, trails, playgrounds, and a big beach. Seeing it with less water was interesting.

This is just a review for trail #1 in the park. It was a cold winter day, and I was the only one that I saw in the park except for a few people who are camping. This was a very nice hike. Most of the trail still had some snow on it. Where there wasn't snow, it was very mushy. Pretty views of the lake, lots of up and down hills, just a really good walk in the woods. I parked down at the big lot where the boat launch is and it was extremely windy on that side of the trail, not so much on the other side of the loop. I was the only one on the trail.

It was a beautiful fall day to be at Raccoon Lake! The park was clean & lively. Their Halloween party was starting. We were still able to hike and enjoy the area. It had been a long time since I'd been there. We'll be going back!

Highly recommend this park. It is very spacious, clean, and has plenty of spots to sit to enjoy the outdoors. You will see all types of wildlife roaming through. The water is clear, one the best lakes in Indiana.

The park had friendly staff, a camp store, accessible bathrooms with semi-accessible showers, a playground at every loop, volleyball nets, a boat launch, a pavilion at the lake, a beach area on the lake, a camp host and hiking trails. This park seemed like the Indiana family vacation spot where people bring their families, an RV, a boat and just relax. Most campers were respectful of the campground rules and quiet hours. Many people had dogs. Each campsite had a picnic table, a fire pit with grate on top and a parking pad (gravel). Half the tent only sites are lakeview but very high above it and at a large slant. There are many RV sites. Overall it's a large campground.
