Friendly and helpful staff. Small state park but good rest spot on our way to Branson. Very outdoorsy here. Full hookups a plus for a state park. Also bath house nice and spacious.

This is the get away place for my family to go when we get together. We try to go 3 times a year and hopefully will plan alot more trips there. Very beautiful scenery and peaceful, plus alot of long trails to walk#DatCampLife

SO MANY UPGRADES AND IMPROVEMENTS!!! Nice roads, concrete walking paths, and more than one playground for the kids. Kayak rentals and launch, boat launches, hiking trails along the lake, and into the woods. It's truly pleasant and relaxing. People walking pets, some kids were riding bikes, and the smooth roads make it so easy. Overnight camping, cabins, too, apparently. Recommend.

If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful place to camp, this is it! It’s my second time here, and I plan to be back soon.

I took my grandson here today, and we found it to be a very pleasant trail experience. This location has a swimming pool along with Cabins that are able to be rented. The trails are wide and clear enough for the youngest of adventures to enjoy. There is no swimming, but you can rent Kayaks to explore the waterways. The picnic areas have grills and they are both shaded and close to the restrooms. there is an open area for large gathers and places to play football, or just lounge on the grass. I will be looking into renting a cabin for the weekend very soon.

Wonderful and peaceful place to unwind, hike, bike, kayak, camp just about what we you can imagine. The have very nice and spacious cabins, secluded camp sites, the bath houses are super updated and very clean. Definitely worth the stop and play!

Stayed here for a week long hunting trip. Was very quiet and not that many people. Enjoyed the heated bath house my stay was in later part of November. Kids loved the fires at night.

Well laid out park with camping, cabins, RV sites, fishing, pool and at least 2 playgrounds. Friendly staff and had an amazing time bird watching. 3 dollar per person entry fee unless you have a state park pass. Well worth it. Plenty of shelters as well.

This place was a quiet oasis for our family after our RV broke down. We stayed at the cabins and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The standard cabins are great value for money for a family of four. Staff were great and super helpful. The park itself is well taken care of and and there is plenty to do and explore by foot and by water. We didn't rent kayaks this time, but if we come back we probably will. This is definitely and great hidden gem of a place to stop for some peace and quiet if you're in the area.
